albnok: nice idea on what? haha... anyway, i think first timers who look through an EVF wont know its an EVF... but i tried the other day at SS Curve with the a33 (my first time looking through an EVF)... it appeared quite cold actually compared to the conventional OVF.

cjlai: superb eagle shots! rclxms.gif

mastering89: Weiiird. Check that your battery contacts are clean. Try with a fresh set of Energizer AAA alkaline batteries - those are the most reliable. If it still doesn't work, send to Sony lah what to do. sad.gif

Mikeshashimi: Nice idea!

My girlfriend didn't realize what was different with my A55 either when she looked through the viewfinder. Then again she was so used to seeing the NEX-5!

Some of my colleagues didn't realize what was different about the viewfinder, either. "Oh got a lot of data in the viewfinder? Is that what is different?" That's quite cool, that people don't realize that it's an EVF until you tell them.

The street price for the F58 is RM11xx and you can get it at Studio Zaloon or from camera shops selling Alpha products in Sg. Wang Plaza or Low Yat plaza.

Please do not say that it's expensive as it's the lowest priced top range flash among all the brands.

Beercan wins in IQ but the 55-200mm is not bad as well. Yes beercan has constant f4. But 55-200mm is very light and easier to carry around. The choice is up to you but the beercan get my vote.

As for your 2nd question : they are others... cap ayam brand, hoya etc etc... But still I think its worth it if you fork out just a lil extra for the raynox.

have u looked into an optical viewfinder before? If u havent, look into one, then look into an EVF, you'll see the difference.
