freaky_deity - mind me asking what do you mean by hard to control? What is your suggestion for good macro+potrait lens?

cjlai - Very sharp macro picture..indeed very poisonous wub.gif ..I am getting speedlight + macro lens after getting more familiar with all the a55 functions

albnok: why is it that when i go to alphanatics.com on my laptop it appears as this:

user posted image

but everything is okay when i use my itouch.

And here is my 'Whats inside a Kitlens?' (1870mm - GearStripped):

1. this is basically whats in a 1870 sony kitlens... all the screws and the 2 gears:

user posted image

2. This is the rear with parts removed... kinda... the yellow box shows the gear is broken.

user posted image

3. If u can see the triangle pattern of the gears... there is 1 triangle missing, a.k.a gear stripped

user posted image

Thank you thank you... this is for the benefit of those wanting to know what gear stripping is...

if theres any wrong information please do correct me.

I don't think will sot la, since the lens doesn't have a power source. On the other hand, it "might" damage your sensor camera if you didn't assemble your lens back properly and one of the loose parts fell onto your sensor...
