QUOTE(clivengu @ Sep 24 2010, 05:23 PM) I see. so if im to get the A33...better just get the body only because its kit SAM lens also wont do any good for me...I thought it will works better for video... SSM lens.. i can only think of the 70300G~ I think SAM and Screw Drive for A33/A55 wouldn't make the difference IMO ... :/Im screaming out loud... |

QUOTE(Ah hao @ Sep 25 2010, 01:39 PM) Everyone pls advice me on this NEX is the king of manual lenses (especially those small lenses) IMO and the following update makes it more direct accessible + movie mode can control aperture during recording under AF or MF mode! i bought a nex3 1855 2 months ago, and now i wan to buy a 50mm f1.8 lens. So i nid to buy a adapter = RM600 but if i sell nex 3 = RM 1600 (if possible, i bought at RM 1900) then i buy a a33 = Rm 2100-2200 (rrp 2400) but then i hv a new camera and new technology nex advantage to me : small n pretty (but adapter on it will destroy all) a33 advantage to me : more button, more lens available(steady shot inside), and hv all function on NEX. so is it a correct choice to sell nex3 ? Unless you want to go with Alpha lens or more AF lenses if not NEX is still good to use :/ |

QUOTE(ahpingko @ Sep 25 2010, 12:23 PM) yesterday get a chance to play with a33...huhu..out of expectation man...grip not nice...camera also smaller compared to my a550.....i love my a550's grip.. Totally ... compare with A33/A55, A550 feels more solid when it mount with VG !! xD But I like A33/A55 as a combocam (video+photo) with prime too just AF .... like Contrast AF (NEX-side) or Phase Detection AF (SLT-side) makes me hard to choose T.T This post has been edited by wingster: Sep 25 2010, 02:25 PM |

QUOTE(eugenechiuu @ Sep 25 2010, 10:26 PM) wah how come it seems like a lot of NEX users sien with their NEX already? Because they doesn't interest on MF lenses xD .... They should release their E-mount lens faster like this year end instead of next year! @eddybeh: the ice cube is lacking of right color mood IMO .... :/ |

@clivengu: Well I more think like A33 and A55 is having the size of previous A200/A300/A350 cameras. So for me I have no issues when using it with big lens like my Tammy 17-50 or even the Tokina 11-16 F2.8 (although is true that lens is more heavy than body xD)

QUOTE(Mikeshashimi @ Sep 28 2010, 09:58 PM) achew : nice one. as usual.. very soothing colours. Aww .. just notice it ... RM0.5k expensive than HK and China =/ and 2~3 A55V price or A900 body priceahpingko: very nice HDR.. lwliam: wheres that? taiwan? wingster: i tot the VG-10 was around rm8k like that? byed: just try and lodged a complain la or at least let them give u a reason for the extra rm500... like you, i too stuck with sony because of the friendly people here. lol. zstan: number 4 is nice. but abit too cold IMO, and the background distracting... but i understand its hard as hell to photograph animals. I guess I might stick to A55V or others combocam for video footage |

QUOTE(Mikeshashimi @ Sep 29 2010, 11:50 PM) MF = you need to focus on the subject yourself by turning the focus ring. They already have it since last week ... xD as opposed to, AF = auto-focus which is where the camera focuses on a subject for you. Curve SS = Sony Style at Curve, damansara. and people say alot of bad thing about sony products.. haha.... and as sifu albnok said, "pixel peeping is bad for you". Today I really impress by the VDSLR cinematography from the film industry talk and getting more poison on Zeiss + A33/A55 combo xD (dreams [ This post has been edited by wingster: Sep 29 2010, 11:55 PM |

QUOTE(ieR @ Sep 30 2010, 12:36 AM) hahaha u know i dont comment on ppl's photo much... but this... this is stunning~ try tune the color to more attractive! Sony 16mm Pancake is really not as sharp as the rivals like Olympus and Panasonic one but that just corner sharpness, in center sharpness the 16mm Pancake still competitive Added on September 30, 2010, 12:43 am well, which UWA (16mm crop is UWA) F2.8 is sharp? anyone with tokina F2.8 can give a little hint here? to my knowledge, the physical design for UWA lens (10-16mm crop or 16-24 FF) at aperture F2.8, its really hard to get it Sharp* for how frame, usually corner will be soft, and center, not to worry, is Sharp*. even CZ 16-35 F2.8 on FF had hardtime to be really Sharp* and so is canon L... these 3(and nikon UWAF2.8) cost like 10times more then that SEL16 F2.8... how would you like to compare? anyone tested samyang 14mmF2.8? another thing is the price, Sony 16mm is relatively cheaper than two of their rival A LOTS so is simple you get what you pay, don't compare a G Lens with Kitty Lens |

These week heavily poison by Cinematic DSLR .... my mind certainly comes for A55V but several point makes me stop down when comes to advance mode and format of bit rate (NEX/A33/A55 seems to be secondly weaker than Canon and the hacked GH series)
I really interested on NEX VG-10 as well but its bloody pricey that I really cannot afford for RM8k I'm thinking about Canon 60D also but when talks about the lens of choice with expensive price, I cried T.T ... Maybe I'm too interested to doing film on DSLR just because I felt that A55V definitely won't last me longer when I am serious for filming Hope here comings a video sifu with experience in VDSLR can give me some advice here ... |

QUOTE(albnok @ Oct 3 2010, 08:27 PM) zstan: +2000! from the announcementmastering89: The A560 and A580 should replace the A500 and A550 in price. That is how it has always been, but I would call the product manager on Monday to ask. gjtan: Tamron cheaper, Sony better, but the Sony 18-250mm is faster in focusing. Deerc: Middle of October, Sony says. r.wern: Not true to all. It takes 6 frames. A560 and A580 has the same burst speed in either speed priority and normal mode as A550 or actually it is false? |
