As long as the graphic shown on the LCD or wat so ever Amoled or bla bla is clear i dun care wat the hell screen i get. Basically i dun see much different in the AMOLED and SLCD. Just some color different as one is more green another more vivid.

The HTC G2 score 57.5fps in neocore.. seems like Desire Z will have a nice gaming performance.. sweet.. the adreno 205 is on par with the others

QUOTE(0300078 @ Sep 30 2010, 07:52 PM) G2 and HTC Desire Z is same phone meh? Yup. Like twin brothers. Just few things different only, like ROM size, and telco band support is different. Also, G2 runs on vanilla android while DZ runs with HTC Sense. But essentially the same phone .

yeah seems like G2 hinge is an issue. Some says its design problem but some says that they have no problem, so might be a manufacturing problem.
Im hoping its a manufacturing problem instead *cross fingers* Cant wait for it to come to Maxis

Im hoping its a manufacturing problem instead *cross fingers* Cant wait for it to come to Maxis i guess its not a problem.. perhaps people think that the hinge would actually stick as in there is a snap-on clip there.. if ur holding ur phone upside down such as when you are lying on ur back on ur bed playing with ur phone with the keyboard closed, you would actually hold the body together with the front body.. not just holding the back isnt it? such an awkward way of holding with just holding the back side only.. it is also slippery to hold only the back so people would hold their phone with the both of the panels together.. the benefit of having late local release date is that HTC has the chance to rectify flaws and bugs before launching it here. So, fingers crossed. I guess the units that were shipped so far were pre-ordered. Haha become everyone's lab rat.
If only there's an official non-Sense UI option when buying Desire Z. G2 would be full of bloatware.

On the contrary, G2 has least of bloatwares . Its has stock/vanilla Froyo. The Desire Z will have the Sense UI. I'd prefer the Desire Z tho cause the UI is pretty robust, and adds onto the practicality and usability of the phone . AND, im sure soon hackers will get the G2 ROM onto the Desire Z, and the Desire ROM Z onto the G2. Best of both worlds! =D

HTC Devices has a great support from XDA and other dev/modders community Added on October 2, 2010, 9:23 pmT-Mobile G2 video quality sample : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jhCwNohSQnkSeems like improved much compared to the 720p on HTC Desire This post has been edited by pluginbaby: Oct 2 2010, 09:23 PM

about that bloatware thing. Juz read 2 review and both said the T-Mobile G2 has tons of Google bloatwares on it, like every google app that exists were in it. http://www.chipchick.com/2010/10/t-mobile-g2-review.htmlhttp://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2370100,00.aspHTC won't be loading tons of that thing into the Desire Z, right? Yeah I know root the phone and it'll be done. But still...

Yeah I know root the phone and it'll be done. But still... lucky that the Z now has more internal storage compared to htc desire ait? non rooting people would love it i guess and for those which expect good stuffs that came out of the box, they would see that this device is already ready to rock from the box on first boot.. advanced people will usually case about the bloatware and this is where their knowledge comes handy
