i see myself like that too. GTX480M SLi is whole new level of performance, provided if all the major bugs been fixed.

Deviltech's system is unstable and premature. not worth it. looks good on paper, tho.

GTX285M or ATi HD5870.

HDD max at 500GB for 7200RPM and slightly large for 5400RPM. swapping HDD is just simple task, no hassle. opposite to GPU upgrade. you have to consult sifu Puto or sifu Julchin regarding this matter.

I changed to Raid 0 and still came out with same error "missing operating system"

I have created new volume to HDD and worse thing happen, I didnt realise windows installation disc didnt come along with it . Now I cant even format it

if u change to raid, ur system will need to reformat d. where r u? maybe we can meet up i help u solve it

Guys just asking is every Alienware products sound card (M11x, M15x, M17x and Aurora) fully support Roccat Kave ?

ya, fully support kave, any other sound card support it as well

So i don't have to purchase any other 5.1 sound card for it ?
I have read some reviews they say Roccat Kace have some minor problems when used with Alienware products, ie over vibration, etc .. ..

for the M15x the max graphically I know is the ATI 5870 but will take some effort for doing it and acquiring the card.

I'm not sure how well it will work as the salesperson told me I'd need a few jacks (2/3colours I think) to make full use of the KAVE.

So far i also never feel vibration on Kave..

Roccat Kave has 5 jacks. 3 jacks for audio (plug all for 5.1 i guess) 1 jack for mic, and 1 USB jack for powering the headset and controller. I remembered Docter mentioned Kave with the external Creative USB sound card?

M17x has 4 and M11x only have 3 . .
Need some clarification on this . . . hmmm

M15x also only has 3. 2 Earphones and I mic. Salesperson told me I would need the Full Fledge Soundcard jacks to use the Kave and told me if I didn't it would be a waste...

How bout the Creative external usb soundcard? Docter also using it

That card is around RM200++ and Kave is aorund RM300++
All together should be around RM500++ then . .

kinda not worth it in my opinion, unless you can afford it, then it will be another story . .

only M17x is FULLY capable of handling 5.1 configuration, as explained by Julchin below. you need 4 input jacks including 1 for microphone.

when you use Kave with M15x, certain physical speaker inside the headphone itself will not functioning due to no input.

even if you are using it with onboard sound chipset from M17x, the subwoofer effect is nowhere near a level it supposed to be heard, or vibrate to poison you more. plus, you can't find any sound driver that capable of handling Kave except the one that supplied with my external soundcard.

if you referring "fully support" as you can hear sound from it, then it quite incorrect. its slightly more than a sound
