Just found out my m17x becomes my gf 's make up desk every morning

Guys help !!

I updated BIOS just now because I thought I had to, my adaptor is plugged in and not charging :

After updating, it went to restart automatically and said operating system missing . . I know i need to some setting on SATA i guess .. . any suggestion for me to help me getting back to windows

I changed to Raid 0 and still came out with same error "missing operating system"

I have created new volume to HDD and worse thing happen, I didnt realise windows installation disc didnt come along with it . Now I cant even format it

I really hope I am in Malaysia.. currently in England. . Another bad thing is my system is purchased out of europe, cant get technical support in DellUK.. I have done the owner transfer form and still not getting reply. . what a boring Sunday I have now

I have some questions. I finally get a win 7 installer to format my m17x and it was fine till yesterday, when it gets into window, it shut off it self and brought up blue scree. This happen for a few times and I had to run safe mode and do some recovery. Then it became okay till this morning when I shut it off, things went okay, screen shut after the shutting down sound . . but the key board light still on and PC running sound can be still heard means it is not shutting down that last for hours now and it is still running. What's wrong with my m17x ? Do I need to format it again ? And also one more thing is how to reinstall all the FX stuff and Alienware theme. Is that all from the purple driver and utilities CD ?

Has anyone experienced m17x sleep mode that cant wake or freeze? Mine m17x has got this problem lately after format, i went through diagnostic and it stucked at a point when it was testing the hardisk. How to solve it? Can we download and reinstall the same driver again from Dell?

Can anyone please give some advice? I am currently in a tough situation that I cant get techinical support from Dell UK yet unless I have done the owner transfer to UK.

NBR forum ? would you mind to give me the link? BIOS update ?? Oh no . . I do not dare to do it again. My PC has been up to this tough situation all because I did a BIOS update last 2 weeks and it could nt detect my hardisk after update eventhough i set RAID to HDD, ended up I have to format it again and worse thing was I had not done any back up or recovery disc. Everything wiped out If someone could guide me through the steps or any guidance I can find from the internet, that would be really helpful to me

Guys, I need some advice on wireless connection. I have just formatted my M17X few days ago and basically installed some of the important drivers and now it cant seem to connect towireless, I assume the wireless driver has not been installed yet but how can I find it? From Dell support page there are 4 things to download under Network drivers but I do not know which one i Need.

Someone offered £1700 to buy my M17X

It's time to sell it off I m just not hard core enough to own this machine

Yea I will get a new desktop soon. In fact one of the engineer in my company will help me to build one little CPU
