well, i will always support Alienware, Acer, Asus, Apple(4 "A") ^^
Alienware i own M11x-R2(Using), M15x(Using), M17x-R2(Using), Acer, i own Acer Aspire 6920G/6935G, Asus i own G51VX-A1(SOLD), G73JH-A1(SOLD), Apple i own Macbook pro 15"(Using now)

sometime, the mobo+GC need to discharge, so it might mulfunction sometime. hold on the alienhead for 15 second(when u wanna start ur laptop), then i think should solve ur problem

i compare for u to see
1) Display- Alienware vs Asus G73JH/JW
RGB LED vs Normal LED (The LCD used by Alienware is double cost of the Asus)

2) Chassis- Alienware vs Asus G73JH/JW
Aluminium Chassis vs Rubber ( Aluminium is well known for Cooling, Solid, and PRICE)

3)Heat Sink- Alienware vs Asus G73JH/JW
Alienware used a massive and big Heat Sink, and also big air ventilation.

4)Graphic Card
Alienware have 2 Slot which is upgradable for Graphic card.

5)Warranty
Alienware have onsite service(One day time to fix ur laptop), Asus need 3 days working day(u have to send to service center)

6)Reputation

if u had bought, i will prefer u sell it and buy new unit.
Most of the people will purchase 3 years complete cover only. mostly i wont as people to spend moey for extra warranty, since we are alienware guys, what we need is performance, so probably after 1 year, the laptop will phase out, so we can change other laptop d.
if u wan 3 years cover, i will prefer u guys get Premium care, which is cover all sort of damages including laptop fall down or split water.

This is due to the optimus problem, try google downlad the Optimus Graphic switching software, try google it, will solve ur issue

About the heat sink u are wrong d, u haven open up to see the heatsink before, Alienware have thicker and bigger heat sink compare to Asus. Below the Fan there is holes for Alienware to sucks the cool air, which Asus Dont have.(Comparision between m15x and Asus G73JH/JW)

i think u guys have to change ur mind d. If u think thier quality is crap, then u will never success.
Acer is a big company which sell laptop, they also need thier reputation. They will improve thier quality as well.
Like thier 5943G is the best product ever, the quality build is even better than Dell with the same price and same spec.(5850 which have better performance at the price range that 5943G offer)

well, older proc is running hot as well, HDD below touch pad i think is normal, even Alienware also the same, for the fan hold, my mac 1 all had been covered, but i think would be nice^^
for older Acer i think is kinda stupid which i agreed(not 6920/6935 ), for this year newer version all seems nice ^^

wondering how many degree ruduced after u guys put on the cooler....

well, u can trade in using ur 5943G, i dont mine trade in ^^

haha, used to it d, Alienware is more attractive to Mac when u use in public

but, mac os is too nice to use(not for gaming).
but alienware have rare outlook which most of the people who dont know laptop, they will ask, "What brand is this"

+1 some time too focus, so u wont realise got people staring on ur lappy
