I think LiquidArc is smoother than Barebones. I think barebones deleted too much of the original apk that make it sumtimes unstable. You can try both and see which 1 better.

LiquidArc got optimize the build.prop so its much smoother with scrolling and transactions. Barebones only make it boneless hehe tongue.gif

LiquidArc got lower quadrant score than Barebones...but overall experience is smoother and feel faster. No force close also...barebones sometimes will have force close.

can someone tell me about the fixed sbf that can make us downgrade the phone.

tell me if this step is correct:

1.since there already are .sbf for south east asia, i dont have to make a nandroid backup.

2.get the fixed .sbf, flash it, and now im already in froyo?

3.if want to downgrade just flash the 2.51 asia .sbf.

is there any guide about the fixed sbf?

ouh, thanks, i thought it is the still about the old eclair to froyo guide

how bout from froyo back to eclair? using the 2.51 .sbf is safe? or need to use restore backup from clockwork?
and if we use any froyo custom roms, it still safe to downgrade back right?

Off Topic: Backside itchy already. Nexus S or Atrix? I love the Atrix's webtop mount. But i'm scared of all the problems i'm reading about the atrix.

I like the future proof Nexus S, but it does not have gorilla glass. I'm a barbarian when it comes to phones.

In the end, still the defy suits me best. Now waiting for the casio tough phone to see its specs. tongue.gif

hmm..just flashed jboogie liquidarc rom...
don't really like the app drawer...have to scroll horizontally and wouldn't bounce back to first page/last page when scrolled to the end...
not very handy when you have tons of apps =(
