does anybody fidn the game very non-userfriendly? there's not enough guide on how to play or how the game mechanics work. after i was KO'ed i just lie on the ground and do nothing. How do i revive? I pressed all buttons on my keyboard and mouse and nothing happen. Just lie there on the ground and do nothing. Gave up and quitted. I just hope that i'll be revived back at the town the next time i login. Secondly, what item should i get to heal myself? I have no money to begin with and the first quest is already too hard for me. also, why isn't the map scrollable?
bottom-line, i've never been so lost before in any MMORPG game. i basically don;'t know where to go, and don't know what to do, even after reading the journal (which by the way need like 2-3 keyboard presses and few mouse clicks to get to view the current quest). And the game sluggishness doesn't help either. sigh.
ui lag is the major problem now, i stop playing open beta becoz of it, so i felt for you there. it is been addressed in their conference in japan lately, hopefully it will be fix as what SE promise.
to revive to go menu and click return, you will teleport back to homepoint crystal.
you heal yourself in passive mode. you can level up conjurer to cure yourself in the middle of combat.
the control need times to adapt with it, currently the best way to play the game is to use game controller. it work very well ^^, once they let us key-mapping the camera control, you can play the game solely just using keyboard, yes only keyboard. when the time i play ffxi, i only use keyboard to play..
the game is new, new mechanic, new job system, alot of stuff to learn even for a ffxi veteran, a lot of practice will make perfect~
if you feel this game too sluggish for you, i reckon to try back the game after 3-5 months.
EDIT O/T: Dead Rising 2 is out in X360 www woot!
