this is why you need with equip with " acc+ " to make your weapon skill hit.

and i seriously doubt, ffxiv are make for solo-ing, eventually we will force to be group.. for quest, leve and instance boss.

if really want to play a mmo with solo purpose in mind, i really suggest people play wow instead.. ^^

i don't play much in open beta becoz... just simply put, waste time. i simply explore area, area good to lvl up, and all the boring mechanic. w

we not yet see the AF for the each class.. w and not sure whether there will be AF at all.

i really dunno why people are playing so much in open beta, just don't make any sense.. just cap at 30, and not all area are open yet.. and with the awesome ui.. -..- w

this is why people use system such as DKP...

fair & square... you earn point you get item.. A player with 5 point compete with B player 5 point. A & B lot.. A win the lot, B will get it the next time or.. C is the highest person with point.. C will lot that item he want to buy..

it's not who get to lot by saying who should get.. when the loot everyone will have to follow the rules.

edit: DKP is like the best system for mmo loot system. we're still experiencing.. so we might alter the loot system.. in future depends on the FFXIV end-game. now way too early to tell and were only cap at lvl50 ww.. 50? serious w..


edit: our ls do not welcome power hungry and greedy people. just a reminder.. ^^

since we play at mysidia at the start of open beta, our root is there oledi.. w..

i have 1 member.. email us.. that it is voted as unofficial jp server, then we open up a meeting btw his frens and few of us officer.. we almost choose other server, but in the end..

after alot of disccusion, we still voted to remain in mysidia after only everyone is fine with it.

i'm aware Gysahl were voted for unofficial oceanic players but we don't see the need to follow what the forum voted. like i said, more peoples doesn't mean good w.. and i believe.. eng. players will still pop at Mysidia regardless what the forum voted. since this is mmo, prefer to play with global peoples.. and i think our ls currently have some m'sian to start with which is really looking good... but i'm not sure whether they will pop at retail.. but still, everything is looking good so far ^^.

ya, actually i'm trying to get more m'sian into the ls becoz i want the rest of m'sian members will have more members in the same timezone to play with, becoz i know peoples have job and life commitment. i'm not so worry about NA side coz.. i know them long time ago.. that's why i only posted at this forum.. not really trying to recruit but was hoping more m'sian can join my guild.

Gladiator can be Paladin, if you sub Mau and Con. Conjurer cure is 2sec delay.. which is really important.

so far we only see skill up to 50, not yet anything above 50, so it still a mystery w

my current concern so far is how Gladiator gonna hold hate with 2-3 enemy.. coz so far don't have Sleep spell. need more crowd control spell or team up to 2-3 Gladiator.

if only gladiator can dual wield, gladiator can actually play like a thf job.. equip with two dagger.. if want to play as DD why not just play Marauder.


i can't wait for samurai job tho in future... samurai with hagun is so epic in ffxi end-game w

Pug is more like DD but also can be use for tank.. depends on what you wanna sub. ^^

wkc is white knights chronicles.. a semi online rpg game. the job system is very similar to what ffxiv intro now. seem like SE taken the idea from them w.

see UI lag, acknowledged by SE there was really pain to play. it's not like we blindly curse at SE development...

Scenario's are balanced, basically, completely soloable or depending on the situation doable with a small number of people. "For the most part, soloable"

# City-states' Guilds: Not all guilds are in every city-state
By passing a certain condition, "class quests" will become available at guilds. Class quests are of course related directly to the class itself, but at the same time are a way to truly learn the details of each city-state. Please enjoy the story revealed in these quests, in addition to the quest rewards themselves.
When you complete a quest, you will receive Guild Tokens [marks?]. We are planning to add more and more things to exchange tokens for.

# Balances to enmity in party battle: In beta, they made adjustments to enmity based on magic and abilities, but they have plans for more. These changes, however, will probably take a while to implement. They plan on adjusting the enmity according to contents, equipment, abilities, monsters, and so on. These changes will be made continuously after service begins based on how things are going.

# Mana Regeneration: In FFXIV, management of your MP use is supposed to be an important part of strategy. They’d also like magic to have explosive power in fewer hits, and not just be used to spam enemies with light damage attacks. To promote this, they’d like to continue to balance the recovery methods used for MP, including the abilities and aetherite, as well as adding new methods later on.

# Usefulness of Battle Regimen
Battle regimen serve a double purpose: to expand the strategy of party play, and to reduce the difficulty/rigidness in forming parties. They are not just for doing extra damage, there are lots of various effects. For example:
- Phys Resistance Debuff
Normal melee attack -> Normal melee attack (ex. slash -> punch [these are basic DoW abilities])
- Magic Resistance Debuff
Normal melee attack -> Normal magical attack (ex. slash -> spirit dart)
- Cast speed down + MP consumption up
Normal melee attack -> Magic (ex. slash -> Fire)
- TP gain reduction + TP consumption up
Normal melee attack -> Weapon skill (ex. Slash -> Red Lotus)
- Action aptitude up (Using a different class ability on the current class grants the same effect as when used on the other class)
Same class magic -> Magic
Same class Weapon skill -> Weapon skill (ex. Trunksplitter -> Brandish)
- Damage up
Various class WS -> WS -> Magic
Various class magic -> Magic -> WS (ex. Blizzard -> Scourge -> Puncture)
For example, if it's difficult to continue dealing physical damage, use Phys resistance debuff. If it's a casting monster, use cast time debuff + MP consumption increase etc.

# Negotiations are another way of obtaining loot (other than battles). By choosing the right conversation subject with a NPC, player can engage in negotiations and receive items in exchange for items wanted by the NPC. If player does exceptionally well, it's possible to get some free stuff as an extra.

# Ishgard: Ishgard's people have long been at war with man-eating dragons, and thus have not taken on Adventurers. In this city, there are already several quests appearing for the "Dragon Slayers" [faction?] who are at war with the dragons.

# Guildleves in the Beta: We sincerely apologize to our open beta testers for the client errors that would occur more frequently during guildleves in the beta. In the release version, we are dealing with these diligently.

# Retainer: Right now, when you buy something from a retainer, there is an unnecessarily long delay. On release, we plan to make this a lot more smooth. We would like to make improvements to make commerce even easier for everyone.

# Relationship Crafting/Gathering & PC Status: PC's physical level & attributes will have an effect on crafting and gathering. There are hints in the game as to what does what, so please search for it.

# Crafting
# Physical: Closely related to the tool being used and will particularly affect quality

# Market: We don't want crafters and gatherers to simply "put up" their items on the market and that's it. We want them to also act as salesmen and learn to play the market intelligently. For this purpose, we will begin with focus on the Bazaar market system. On that note, in order to be able to tell "What's for sale?" etc, we are planning to adjust policy and add functionality to improve the user friendliness.
# Retrying guildleves: The best way to level is with guildleves, that is, even without the guardian's favor, you will earn way more exp and skill points per each kill. For this reason, we wanted to prevent abusive use of leves by killing all the monsters but failing right at the end and then retrying on the spot. However, if you visit the NPC that gave you the leve, you can retry it.

# There will be hardware mouse support!

# We believe that the item selection interface should be very responsive, and by release we will have introduced a MUCH improved version. After release we will continue improving this.

# There will be guildleves where crafters and adventurers have to cooperate.

# The guildleve issue will be fixed so they cooldown will be significantly decreased from 48 hours.

# Anima regeneration will have to be raised since you'll have to travel more for more frequent guildleves.

# The faction leves have you fight different beastman tribes and such.

i'm so glad uematsu is taking part in ffxiv..

i'm planning to buy all the retainer available in games w...

since i'm gonna be heavily crafting.. due to the fatigue system.

as long they can search item via bazaar i'm fine even without AH for now, anyway SE will put them in later game.

anyone here is dedicated to play gladiator or tank job, do consider to join our ls. need more experience tanks in our current ls tho i'm gonna start as gladiator too, just to make the rest of my members easier to play. i can switch to other jobs.. when there isn't need more than 2 or 3 tanks.

i actually log in for 10min to check out the UI... still need a lot of improvement w. the lag is still there regardless..

inventory still no auto-sort... guess have to wait until the retail. if no auto-sort inventory in retail, it will be epic fail w..

FFXIV still need alot of improvement.. nevertheless www hopefully we will have a more matured client at retail w. i can stand on everything.. except the ui.. ui is something the way a players interact with the game world.. with a pain lag & unfriendly ui, it will just tore everything down to pieces literally~

not sure if EU SE support Entropay, since it is base in Europe or Click2Pay ~

sometimes cc can still be use even you put different region (happen in my psn), SE support site may said not support becoz the country is not the list but that doesn't mean they don't accept your credit card.

well it seems some SG game retailers are pulling off the Collector Edition pre-order due to the billing problem arise.

maybe you guys need to take some pre-caution..

qisahn is quite reputable in sg~ i bought some stuff from them, so far they're the only gameshop in sg taking CE pre-orders.

they have some good news and as you read below it become like bad news~

1)We have been able to procure confirmed copies of the EU/UK versions of the Collector’s Edition for SGD$100 and we are expecting the title to arrive before release date.


2)On top of that, we will be able to get UK prepaid cards for the game as well.

i will call them later, to double confirm and update you guys here becoz the blog really confuse people. w

the current problem is i can think of, m'sia and sg is not in the country list, credit card able to accept or not.

the first 3 days i had about 100k .. i just vendor everything i don't want to vendor.. kill alot of squirrel mobs.. and sell its pelt for 450gil each.. which is good money w.. then i no longer play, due to the awesome ui.
