just a label for incredible tough, very tough, tough, even match and easy prey in ffxi, so you don't have to /check w

the follow up should be something like this, red > orange > yellow > green > blue

altho we still think green & blue doesn't make any difference.

to check what the mobs elemental just see what crystal they drop for you~

i see i didnt play much at open beta w.. by the way for element weakness, you need to check online guide beastiary, becoz their element weakness are basely base on their physical appearance well that was what it appear in ffxi, i'm not sure about ffxiv yet.


Light - fire/light/wind/thunder
Dark - earth/dark/water/ice

hopefully this will give you some raw explain on elemental weakness..

currently i'm testing the game to run on 1920x1080 and kept running on city, the best place to test for game lag i guess.

think 5870 is abit too weak for ffxiv w.. gonna get gtx480 sli before the retail is out. i don't really mind the shadow, just want the game more smooth at 1920x1080

i also wanna run with the ambient occlusion and depth of field on.

wihout the ambient and depth on, the game still look stunning, was running in windowed and borderless mode..

so far it is playable but after turning the ambient on, it get quite lag at city...

yer, i lend a 5870 from my fren w it doesn't work on windowed mode.

was planning to use 2x 5870 but since it doesn't work i'm gonna slap in 2x gtx480 instead.. since the price now is not that bad.

not sure, if it will work in future tho.. but i'm also thinking to get 5970 quadcore (if it work).. coz i still love the red camp nonetheless w

edit: currently my main concern is only on the gpu.. the rest is ok oledi.. single 5870 still sucky to run ffxiv.. + i just bought it one month ago~ sad..

my current concern is whether the open beta client were able to use as retail but highly doubt so, since my ffxiv copies will send to NA fren's address..

it will be nice if the open beta client could use for live, not need waste time to download from usenet at launch >_<

hmmm our ls timezone?

umm me and couple frens playtime, weekdays around 10pm-12am people will start to pop until the next day 3-4pm. this is sort of our playtime when we play in white knight chronicles. we used to be longer in ffxi but due to everyone is old, so i guess we will stick with wkc playtime for now. i often fall asleep at my chair w..if i don't response they know i doze off w.

for weekends.. maybe will less people play but nevertheless couple people will be up.. i won't be home at weekend nights. hunting for food w : p

you might think we our playtime abit intense but w have more time doesn't mean it will be nice, if you couldn't master your favour class combat, even have 24hours also still sucks w. so were just normal la.. www

i don't find it is a problem to play with jp eventho i knew nothing of japanese. if they jp only, they can go fuuuck themself. actually i prefer to play jp more than na w.. if only met strong players.. jp people also tend to stay longer in pt w.. 5-6hrs at least for partying~ but judging from ffxiv current open beta.. i not even sure need partying w.. or alliance.. w

i don't really check my website atm becoz wwww currently i'm pretty much bz with amass my profit.. sighz~ w

currently i dunno how many players, but got a few players are from m'sia, we will wait until our ls become much stable only will start recruiting people that we meet in-games. currently there're few people not yet register but will be joining us in-game. we just felt, ls website is not necessary yet coz still too early but i had already did so left it there atm.

our ls not gonna start big, but will just start with who is in. we will start as casual and work up our ways to some hardcore ls in future. we wanna feel connected to each others and remain consistent. gonna enjoy as much as we can in FFXIV, coz this is our second ff mmo, it gonna be real epic journey.

although like i said before, i have a few core members which i knew them since very long time ago, but we don't allowed favouritism among members. especially people who is in the officer post. so far, officer post and ls leader will be re-selected after when we about to reach end-game content. so for now i will be leading the ls for a while, it is not easy to lead a ls.. need extra effort and well managed, pain in the neck w..

i don't have problem with jp dude at ffxi, i believe will not have problem in ffxiv. secondly not everyone is gonna follow what people posted on forum. thirdly, i prefer to play with jp players.. very competitive.. w.

not all jp are like that.. i used to know a jp player.. www she even invited me to her moogle house in ffxi.. well along with other frens.. w

we camp and make gils together, and showed me alot of secret of gil making in ffxi w.. if they know you well enuff they will try to use translator to communicate with you...

it's all about being respect..

i don't really think i will recruit japanese to our ls unless, he is able to communicate in eng or unless he personally ask. i definitely won't go and ask a jp to join our ls w.. it just stupid.

in wkc, i had a jp guy join our guild, well he was able to communicate in eng. so all is well.

edit: and i almost felt ffxiv is a different games but the concept is still there, so we're also still on learning curve. more like sharing knowledge and skill is better to explain.

i play mmo to make frens - not cyber-ing w..

she showed some good place to make gils and invited me to her ls dynamis, this part is more fun than cyber-ing w.

i used to have save a screenshot of her moggle house but deleted, well she had an awesome moggle house and the first look you'll know she is very long time ffxi players.

all that you mention is easy to get except the exca and aegis, but i would prefer mythic weapon w

the koenig set is not really that uber when salvage set is out.. i had ares and usukane set before i quit. a few skadi also.

spend way too much effort on salvage.. not fun at all.

ya just go hybrid~ weirdest job system of all times.

thought pugilist have second wind tho it seem sucks. w

should just go.. sub thau and marauder..

edit: Marauder is the best because you get Defender, Skull Sunder, Bloodbath, Foresight n Fracture.

edit: Thau or whatever the class is also good, for solo, coz you can debuff the enemy..

from my ffxi experience, meeting the right peoples and right ls was an important factor whether you will gonna enjoy the game in long term or not.

and ya.. it does take very long time for the bond to grow.. not like it happen in one day or months.

we take friendship in priority over the rest, secondly just gonna enjoy as much as we can in games.. even the grass n flower ww...

i seen way too much rise & fall in every major ls, so i know a little two bit on what every ls need & had experience leading a big ls, so i'm not really worry too much. a successful ls.. take a lot of patient and times to nurture it. it's like planting a seed.. : p
