Is it due to our phone is old and can't support class 10 cards?

The ROM doesn't consist of DAF.exe. You need to download the tools separately.
In order not to confuse, use this all-in-one toolkit.

Install the toolkit, and choose:
1. Install HSPL. Follow instructions.
2. Install MAGLDR. Follow instructions.
3. Choose your partition size and Repartition. Follow instructions.
4. Copy the ROM into your SD card and boot into CWM by holding POWER button. Go to install zip from sdcard. Find your ROM from there.
5. Reboot and enjoy.

It's ok either way. Normally they use CWM build-in partition manager is to create partitions for Data2SD.
Most ROMs support EXT3, but some ROMs support EXT4.

I don't use stable version. I use development version normally because I enjoy flashing weekly. Hehe...

Anyway, I just spotted tytung released ICS CM9 ROM.
Check it out, guys. I don't know what's the difference between CM9 and AOSP ROM.

I'll give it a try after I buy a class 6 SD card to support Data2SD. My class 10 SD card sucks on HD2.

I dislike the dark theme from HyperDroid.
If you ask me about CM7, I would prefer NDT GINGER SERIES.
If you want MIUI, I strongly recommend you NDT MIUI.

Comparison between CM7 and MIUI, I'll go for MIUI. Why I love MIUI?
1. When browsing WAP sites, CM7 tends to zoom out. Each and every time,, I've to manually zoom in. After setting to super large fonts, also pointless.
2. Pop-up when SMS arrives. I can reply easily. I know we can install extra app for this, but since MIUI has built-in for this, why not?
3. Name of company appears in contact list. I love this. I can enter my contacts name, and differentiate them by company name. For example, 2 Hassan bin Ali in my contacts. So which Hassan is plumber, and which Hassan is salesman?

Haha, don't say me till like that. Yeah, I'm a flashaholic. Looks like I didn't buy the wrong phone.
Anyway, I only flash NDT MIUI weekly. No more other ROMs. Will change to ICS once everything stables down.

Anyway, I found out that the gallery is lagging and partially working in ICS.
Wait till they clarify first before I upgrade.

If you want GApps like Gmail, Youtube, Facebook, so on and so forth, very easy. Just download "Market Enabler" (the icon is Market icon with lots of flags) from Market and emulate your SIM to T-Mobile (if I'm not mistaken, the code is 51026). Then load Market again. From there, you can download each and every respective GApps.

As for A2SD, almost all HD2 ROMs are A2SD-enabled. Some of them have A2SD script installed, but doesn't have A2SDGUI. So just download it from Market too (Find A2SDGUI, not App2SDGUI). From there, you can move and rebuild your Dalvik Cache to SD-EXT.

Yeah, camcorder is not working yet.
Anyway, lot of reports saying ICS is not stable yet. Sometimes data not working, WiFi not working...
Was previously considering to upgrade, but makes me think twice now.

1st: Did you partition your SD card to EXT3?
2nd: If yes, try to restart a several times.
3rd: If still the same, download here and flash like how you flash your ROM.
4th: If no luck, Install "terminal emulator" from Market. Try to type "a2sd install" into it and let us know the result.

Sorry for missing out the most important command.
You need to type "su" first in order to gain superuser access.
When prompt, tick "remember" and "allow".
After that, only you type "a2sd install" without quotes.

Added on January 12, 2012, 3:15 pmYup, I flashed tytung's ICS, and the Gallery sometimes work, sometimes don't work. Got frustrated and straight away reflash back to MIUI. Might give it a try on MIUI 4.0.3.

I just flashed and tested all ICS versions. Some have WiFi issue, some have data issue, some are lagging, some have no A2SD, some are on low density (small resolution). So I got no choice but to revert back to my NDT MIUI and stayed there. ICS is just plain not stable yet.

Since it's not found, that means A2SD script is not installed by default.

It's not recommended to backup apps and settings. You'll encounter FCs after you restore your apps to different ROMs.

Added on January 20, 2012, 2:16 pmI changed mine, but sometimes, I face the same problem as you. The only way out is to lock screen and unlock again. It's really annoying sometimes when it keeps occuring, but what to do.

Sometimes, it's blur like old TV. Terrible... I'm going to send back mine after CNY.

Yes, it's behaving very abnormally most of the time.
To solve this problem, I lock my screen and unlock, then problem will be solved.
Sometimes, even locking and unlocking also no point.

No, it's not because of Android. I previously changed my LCD due to drop.
Touch screen is extremely respondent, so I don't think it's touch screen's problem.

What ROM are you using? Looks good.

I don't know. Maybe it's due to digitaliser. Not really sure. Have to send back to my friend to repair.

Yup, I guess it's either you send to normal shop to repair or buy a new 2nd hand HD2.

I flashed to michie's ICS. Looks good and A2SD is supported, but common bug (gallery and menu opening lag) makes me u-turn and reflash back to my 2.3.7 MIUI.
However, ICS ROM is stable enough for daily use.

I'm going to buy another 2nd hand HD2 for my GF as Valentine's Day gift.
Going to flash to MIUI for her also.

Wah, you sure want to buy another HD2 for Garmin purpose? I recommend you to buy stand-alone GPS, actually.

Yup, I saw that touchscreen CWM, but a lot of chefs don't recommend that because it's due to beta.

And yes, I've tested that Tosti. It really sucks, wording is so small and everything is so small. Not standard at all.
If you want ICS, get michie's ICS. It's the best among all.
