It's normal. Since download mode, you can reflash using Odin.

I didn't even get the chance to charge my battery fully on the first day I got it. I'll tell you when my battery gets replaced. Lets see whose lasted longer.

I haven't been practicing 8 hour charge. Neither that I discharge the battery fully. I keep charging it whenever I can.

Good news. Someone who has Singtel Singapore SGS manage to regain 3 button recovery mode using the Canadian SPL.

54C is normal. If I turn on Wi-Fi and charge at the same time, it's really hot.

I put into leather casing. The plastics are at the side to hold the entire phone. Dunno got scratches or not. Didn't want to take it out and add more scratches. Lol..

I'll be taking it out when I bought the 16GB memory card for the phone. Then I'll see if it scratches badly.

The power consumption of a higher class card is higher. I prefer something like Class 2. Hard to feel any difference.

For video chat, look for Qik in XDA. They've extracted the apk from HTC Evo.

Haha, none. Skype and MSN doesn't work through video/voice call yet.

You can still make a 3G video call to someone else if you don't mind the bill.

I'm using live wallpaper, wifi always on, twitter/facebook sync every 1 hour. Moderate texting, little voice calls. 65% left till I want to sleep.

I made a hex check with the primary bootloader BML1, and it appears that my SGS has a crippled primary bootloader. If I have attempted 3 button recovery fix, I would have a full brick now.

So guys, check before you flash the bootloader.

I'm suddenly having some problem with the OS already. It became unstable and the graphical shell keep restarting every few minutes. What can I do to reset the entire phone, including to wipe the 2GB partition?

Where else can I look for an inexpensive case? RM90 for me is expensive.
