I remember reading the part which TM needs to activate the 10Mbps from their end from one of the LYN user's installation experience.

18 x RM31 = RM558 .... You pay RM500 for early termination. You do the math.

I registered 4th June, the called and said my date is 11th July..
Hopefully my installation still free..
Do you think those who registered before 30th June but got their installation date after 30th June will have to pay for installation?
*
Same case like me... according to DrPitchard, it will be waived as the application was submitted before 30 June 2012

Stated in the Maxis FAQ:

Can I perform torrent/peer-to-peer downloads?
In order to create a good customer experience for all our customers, torrent and P2P downloads are not recommended.

This is my major reason to think twice before subscribe.. I feel is pointless given a 10mbps speed but throttle at p2p and torrent. Void the purpose of having fast speed...
*
there's always Direct Downloads too...

But one thing im curious is the installer. he mention if u r the maxis mobile subscriber (not sure post paid or prepaid) if u apply the Maxis Fiber promotion now, u will entitled for a free Iphone 4S. hahaha... so far i do not know how true is it. As im not a Maxis mobile subsriber.

now cant see anymore "free installation until 30th June.."
instead:
"* Unlimited quota extended till further notice.
* RM200 installation fee is waived until further notice.
* Installation fee waiver only applies for standard installations."

How to change again to public IP?
& how to differentiate them?
*
Even nicer... means this promo is going to continue.....

What do you expect?
10Mbps download speed?

Internet speed and download speed is different lah my friend.

To get download speed.....
Internet speed/8=download speed
10Mbps/8=1.25Mbps

So your download speed is good. rclxub.gif
*
1.25MB per second ... not 1.25Mbps

Sry..my mistake..It shown as 65Mbps. Ronnie..coincidence I was reading the info from the same link...lol.

Does that mean my connected devices on wireless to the router are capable of 65Mbps?

Anyone knows whether Thomson router can be configure to support Channel Bonding mode in order to maximise
the theoritical max wire speed for 802.11n?
*
You have the router access, check the configuration page... or read this @ http://www.maxis.com.my/home/pdf/fiber%20i...Mbpspackage.pdf
