thinking of overclocking my gtx 570. its the asus directcu ii edition, so the massive cooler should help. but im a noob in overclocking. i saw some reviews, but i dunno how to oc -.-. specs are in sig, if anyone got any suggestions on how to oc and whats a safe limit, please reply. ty.

FYI: i tried the asus gpu tweak, but when i ran it to 950 mhz, it crashed. and im not sure what to do with the voltage tweaking.

not much difference. Actually I believe you can OC your WinFast to speeds close or even above AMP edition. It's not worth it to upgrade to a same chipset with higher clocks

To me it Is not worth it to buy a new card with the same gpu for the sake of its higher clock unless u are gonna run it in SLI , u could just Oc it urself and maybe go even further than the amp version

SLI means running 2 Cards. SLI on the box means the card supports SLI

from what i see, your motherboard doesn't support SLI, that means a no go. SLI means using 2 GPU chips on a board to produce a single output. you can use 2 GPUs on your CPU, as long as your motherboard supports it, which isn't. ( I don't recommend SLI, because it usually causes microstuttering in your games, and it also runs hot mad.gif )
