If you using 2g,that a normal.
if 3g,3gs or 4g that its abnormal.
see and check if you running any background apps(for ios4 above)
if there is,shutdown all your background apps then reboot your phone.
if problem still presist,do a hard reset.

why theres an issue on the white iphone.doesnt seems relative on color.
black and white kinda racist there.

ps : for those who really wanted,look for 1.59 ...

@valtz,
what sort of search are you doing?
if it is Spotlight search, (to the left of home screen)
navigate to Settings > General > Home > Search Results
and untick whatever results you do not want appearing on Spotlight.
this reduces lag by a lot. i only have Applications ticked,
and it makes my iPhone 3G run faster overall.

i recently found out that i cant play facebook videos..dunno why suddenly like that geh. Previously i remember can play without problem, right now when i click on facebook videos, i will have a pop up message like this:

"Alert
Sorry, this video cannot be played because it is in a format that this device does not support"

anyway encounter this before and is there any solution to this?

btw mine is j@ilbr0ken one..suspect main cause

i have tried updating to latest, i have also tried deleting the facebook app, reboot the device, install facebook and reboot again to ensure that it's totally ok...hit same issue also

I realize that its not practical to watch a 2 hour movie on the iPhone, as I would rather watch it on my laptop or LCD screen. Placing a large number of music videos are much more meaningful. Anyone knows where to download high quality music videos for free?

How come when I turn off cellular data and go into messages, a prompt will ask me to turn on cellular data? SMS doesn't use cellular data.

Btw, do you guys keep cellular data (not 3G) on all the time? Or off?

I have this app called "Downloads" which enables me to download most of the videos from YouTube. However, the quality isn't 360p or 720p which I chose to download. It is always less than VGA (640*480) resolution.

Try MXTube, can let u choose to stream or dl... in Low, High or HD...

hmm... been using my ip4 for about 3 months
dont really feel the power of A4 chip ;X
when i open up setting it still takes about 2 - 3 seconds.

donw worry.there must be alot of background apps running in your phone.
double tap your homebutton,kill all the background apps.
reboot your phone.
if problem still there,try to disable/uninstall the problem that always running on background like 3rd party Emojhi for sms and mms widget and so on.

I se the update for ios 4.2 is out already. Should I upgrade it? Any noticable difference?

Does anyone feel the speaker on the iPhone is utterly crap? I really do mean utterly. Ringtones sound like shit.

Also I havent had many calls yet, but from what I've heard even the ear speaker sounds bad as well. Voice doesn't sound clear at all.
