If I change sim card, do I have to activate the phone again? If yes, will all the apps and settings remain?

dear all previous 3gs owner and now currently own 4,

i want ask is it iphone 4 it's overall it's better than 3gs ? if iphone 4 overall/everythings it's better than 3gs, then i will consider upgrade to iphone 4

my fren own iphone 4 and his review as below:

1)3gs have better battery life
2)3gs picture take by camera quality it's better than brighter
3)3gs speaker/volume/ring louder

Anybody have installed the i phone software 4.1?

Cam I ask this question again...

When I attempt to sync contacts to my iPhone 4, I repeatedly receive the following error:

"iTunes could not sync contacts to the iPhone because the iPhone disconnected"

i have a pc connected to internet access. Can i connect the iphone to my pc and access to internet via iphone?

Do you guys got enable the Data Roaming together with the Cellular Data in order to online with 3G Maxis? As I told in the earlier post, whenever I enabled the Cellular Data in those areas with poor 3G signal I couldn't online and have to re-enable the Cellular Data in order to online with Maxis 3G, but just now I've tried to enable the Data Roaming together with the Cellular Data and it works perfectly even though in the poor signal 3G area I still able to online without re-enable the Cellular Data, may I know what the Data Roaming for? Do we need to enable it together with the Cellular Data to connect it to Maxis 3G Internet?

Oh no, i still did it via i tune, download till 500M, it becomes processing instead of download.
Then suddenly, it disconnected from my I phone.
Now i got to redo it again? Another 2 hours?  

After reading the thread not really understand to get it done, thus decided to do it via I tune. That is the disadvantage to use this kinda complicated phone for computer noob like me.

hi, couldn't find much info on this, is there a way to fully quit the application when i press the home button, besides double tapping and quitting the app manually?

First time my iPhone 4 restarts by itself for no reason..The only application is running background is messages,phone and settings..It exactly happened when I on my wifi and wanted to facetime with my classmate..Hope it doesn't happens again..

once u insert the carrier sim, then no network will be detected, it happened to most of ip users ler hehe

Problem Encountered : Just want to transfer all my song file in my iPhone to my PC  because all the physical file on my desktop had been accidentally deleted.

I believe 4.1 has a lil wifi prob. Not sure bug or what or only my device. U try to connect to wifi and then leave it for minutes. Then try to connect to safari and it wouldn't connect until I have to manually on off the wifi before I can get through the Internet. I m nt sure what's goin on. Did u guys have such problems?

All of them have this problem? Before I upgrade to ios4.1 I don't need to manually connect after it was locked
