I already have mobile broadband now, if i get iphone with data package, i have damn lots of bill to pay >.> Added on September 27, 2010, 10:19 am QUOTE(benny888 @ Sep 27 2010, 08:32 AM) Seems few users buying the local sets is complaining about death grip and drop calls issues. Just hope Malaysia did not not get the short end of the stick recieving the early batches of production with these problems! yes u can check ur production week. referin to ur serial number..No one really knows how Apple distribute their sets. To many Americans , Malaysia is unknown country !! I was in USA few times for business, most time I got this awkward look from them when I said I am from Malaysia - most think is in Africa!! OMG ! All the early users in this forum had declared there was never such issue with their sets which was bought overseas. Infact I tested one unit in June at the meetup, didn't observe such issues at all at KLCC There is a way to check production month of the set but I cannot remember it. Any member here knows, please advise aabccdddeef aa = Factory and Machine ID b = Year cc = Production Week ddd = Unique Identifier ee = Color (A4=black) f = size (S=16GB, T=32GB) This post has been edited by deepan84: Sep 27 2010, 10:19 AM |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Sep 29 2010, 08:59 PM) MAXIS set - depend on your luck. My friend got his from Malacca and told me he has no signal n dropbar issues. Since is new set, no harm trying to get a replacement if one has so many problems with it to be honest, all my frens who bought from maxis experiencing some sort of signal prblem. some either drops to 1 bar or to no signal. depends on the 3g strength in dat area. ur fren might have been testin it in a good coverage area, thus no issues. its best just to use a case/cover and jst close one eye. although the signal drops on my set, its not as bad as how they made it to be. i stil can sms and call although 1 bar. just dun be too obsessed over the signal gfx on d fone. |

QUOTE(giovanni @ Sep 30 2010, 08:08 PM) It is more likely to be hardware than software. What software in IP4 can cause overheating? I suggest to take a snapshot of the screen and show it to the people at maxis centre well im guessing mayb the ip4 was runnin a power hungry software bhind although it was closed by the owner, thus causin excessive heat. im just assumin lar. it might be a software error of managing background apps. dats y i suggested a clean restore, and if the problem stil persist, go ahead n claim ur waranty. |
