I just got my iphone4 in the morning from Digi and about an hour ago I tried to update to iOS4.1.. The installation progress hang and now my iphone stuck at connect to itunes logo zzz.. Trying to restore now to 4.1 instead of check for update.. If not works I'll try custom restore to 4.0.2.. Hopefully current restore works zzz

Are you using Vista? I encoutered that problem when I tried to update my firmware to ios4.1. Changed to another laptop running on Window 7. Problem solved. Try it.

Added on September 25, 2010, 8:00 pmMost common issues are stuck/dead pixel as well as splotching camera. Some units will have proximity sensor issue too. Antennagate is a non-issue to be honest with you.

The photos won't rotate if you hold it wrongly even if you're holding it horizontally. If the position is correct, the camera icon should rotate as well.

If this still doesn't help, just perform a restore.

To be honest bro, this looks like your camera module might have problem. I can understand if you say shutter won't open but such bandings just don't look right to me at all. Go for warranty

Likewise. i am not sure how apple does it , but its smooth. Even Skype's video quality is not smooth as this. It was fun chatting with ya , awesome - one word which describes it all

Hey guys. I've been scouring the thread for proximity issues but i seriously can't find any. To be honest i haven't read the whole thread coz i'm using my iphone right now. Hope the mods won't mind. Anyways, i am unlucky enough to be having issues with my proximity sensor. Anyone else has this problem? Should i ask fot a replacement with maxis? Thanks for the input
