just wondering, anyone had experience replacing the stock headers to aftermarket headers like 4-2-1 or 4-1, WITHOUT changing the rear and mid mufflers?

I need to know if by JUST changing the header and maintaining the rest like the mid and rear muffler stock, will the rear muffler emit any weird metallic / cracking noises????

I am asking this because i had bad experience with my ex car when replacing to aftermarket headers with the rest stock whereby the muffler emits a loud metallic noise.

remove the original extractor and install the after market will improve low end torque.

My Back Door close sound like BMW. Front more solid the before. U want to hear ?

just came back from another major service 40K km in Mutiara Damansara.

reach 7.30am
appointment 7.45am
called me to inpect my car at 8.15am
told me major service around 3 hours. says possibly can take car at 12pm. i told the lady i will just wait there.
10.10am called my name. thought got problem, but suprisingly it's that my car finish service already.
this time is the quickest since the first time i service here

Ya my friend just change headers for his old persona.. He changed to galvanised one (tak kilat one,im not sure if thats what they call it).. Not those stainless steel ones.. He said low rpm in town driving the sound is a bit funny and quite 'kosong'.. But when reach higher rpm the sounds become quite bassy but not deep sounded like those conti sport cars..

i think proton neo door closing sound is nicer because the door is much heavier

i know that la. I am asking if replaced with aftermarket header but still using stock mid and rear muffler, will it emit any weird metallic noises or not at any given rpm.   

dunno true or not. workshop told me, its better change rear muffler (s-flow) together, if not u will heard 'preng' or other funny sound because it design better compatible airflow from aftermarket header.

go and use myeg.. u can choose to use etiqa.. u get another 10% on top of you ncd and can also choose your windscreen coverage limit.. 1424 is too high.. how much did they put your car value? it shold be around 45-50k only now..
