any good toy poodle breeder to recommend around klang valley? planning to buy a short leg poodle. budget about 1k
*
Good breeders won't have "short leg poodles" as it is incorrect according to breed standards. Poodles are supposed to have long legs and their length from point of rump to point of shoulder should be as close as possible to their height at the withers...

If you want a short legged dog, choose a breed that is supposed to have short legs (Pekingese, Dachshund), if you want a Poodle, get a poodle that is the shape of a poodle....

What vitamins do you feed your dog? I give my dog mybeau and some spirulinas occasionally.
*
I feed this multi vitamins, I forgot what's the brand name, comes in tablet form around RM30+ for 100 in a bottle
Then My beau (2-3 days once) and lauric oil (bought from breeder)
How's the effect of my beau for you dog?

Agree, what's with ppl and short leg poodles, their exact size suppose to be a square height and body length, poodles are born like that if you force them into something else I doubt they'll even grow properly. Also, short legs poodle look funny in fact...

If your budget is 1k go for breeder, pet shop won't give you that price... but look for a responsible and reputable breeder, beware when you buy online (just a piece of advice after reading many incidents)

Everyone have their ways, so I'm not saying you're wrong but just sharing my personal opinion  blush.gif

Probably it's because I spoiled my girl very much  laugh.gif I spend much in buying bed, clothes, accesorries. Treats as well I always buy the ones from japan which easily cost 10-20 a packet. And she eats salmon tongue.gif
*
Haha supplement is not needed if u really gives them good food la... salmon in fresh? Cammy takes fresh fish if my dinner hs any, either u can steam or boiled it a while... No human food or junks food for them... If u know them well, no need to use treats to train them just use their food is better. Train them especially b4 every meals that's what i do... Their food also need to grain free, i only buy those... orijen (six fish, grassland), acana (pacifica), addictions (venison and apples) and artemis are those she ate... These food they will never stop from eating cos of the stench smell because of that u can use it to train them also smile.gif I only buy chewy to help them to clean their mouth... Rarely buy cloths and accessories... Pity them also for their coat too thick, some more u ask them to wear those cloths when hot, so I only hv very minimum cloths for her...

just like my gf said too much of anything for anyone if not good, a balance diet is essential...

So from there u can calculate out how much u need to use... Food around rm70 (except those fresh food we cook for her), chewy around rm15 those are monthly and grooming about rm90 when i send them to groomer if I'm lazy to trim her myself, mostly she only see the groomer 3 month once... Others are shampoo and misc stuff which should not cost more than rm100 when u wanna buy them...

I think they better go thru the criteria for a poodle before u buy it...
It should have a square body look shoulder to floor vs chest to buttock, skull is roundish, mouth is not long...
Poodle is not meant to have short legs... but if you wan then u might need to confirm that it's sire and dam also have short legs... If not u never knows whwt they will be after 1yr...

I realized my poodle will cough and try to vomit like something stuck in her throat each time after she run around...went to the vet describing this symptom and he said it's normal as poodle has narrow air ventilation.

Does all ur poodle has similiar symptoms as well?

i think is because his/her ears is smaller compare to others and not heavy enough to drop down...and his fur is still very little...once the ears fur grow more and longer, his/her ears should be come down ger la...but i think he/she does look cute and special...i knw where u got this pup...saw the pic in FB too...izit expensive?my frens got his poodle from this pet shop too...her selling price is expensive compare to others...

She is very healthy with soft and shiny coat, she has been taking MyBeau every day for the past 3 months. The Spirulinas also do wonders.

I'm taking fish oil (2x1000mg) per day and I'm wondering whether I can feed my dog a 1000mg fish oil? If so, how many times per week?
