Dunno where else to post on long multi country backpack trips so I am posting here. I am planning vientiane -> phnom penh -> ho chi minh -> da nang -> hanoi -> kunming. Preferring all ground travel (still have to check if all the border crossings are possible). How many weeks would you (like to) take if you went on this trip? 4weeks?

My friend went to Laos and Cambodia overland, it took her two weeks though. |

It's a much challenging hike compared to Kinabalu. Was doing a search for place to go, then realize that it's a world heritage site. Anyway, now am deciding between Mulu or climbing Mount Kinabalu BTW, you would need to book ahead (few months at least) if you are going for Kinabalu. |
