I am actually planning to backpack around June, but still planning. South Korea is one of my destinations.

I'm trying ways to get cheap flights. Found a tour agency offering the places I wanna go (Mt Sorak and Jeju Isalnd) for around 3.5k all in.

Planning to go free and easy if it's cost efficient. That's the case but airport tax is already almost a thousand for a round trip...
I did read online somewhere that the flight can be obtained cheaply for around 100USD. Anyone knows anything about it?

I like going backpacking more, so everything is up to us.
The flight using AA is quite cheap, last time I check last week can get around RM800 (exclusive luggage). Prices for tickets to SK always rises! Two weeks ago, its still 600-700. For June travel.
I saw Malaysia Airlines only RM1300 (inclusive luggage) a few weeks ago from expedia.
3.5K all in, saying that air ticket is RM1000, with RM2.5K you can go more than Mt. Sorak and Jeju Island.
My objective to go there is to go to Busan, haha. With 2.5K of budget I can go Seoul-Busan, maybe stopping in Gyeongju or Daejeon first. (Maybe can go 5-7 days with that kind of budget). If you're going to Jeju, I heard it's more expensive.

NOTE: I've never been to SK, so these information are from my research all this while.

koh pag ngan is consider the other side of island ady..it's nearer to go from koh samui...if u wana go from phih phi, u need to head over to mainland(phuket) n catch a bus to surat thani and board a bot to koh pan ngan

Phi phi is great.
Im catching ferry frm ao nang. 350baht.
No idea if gettng from phuket coz im not go to phuket.
Best things in phi phi is you can walking to long beach and have a great experience.
Beach party every night is also awesome.
Not to forget view point phiphi.
Not to forget maya bay (phiphi leh).
400baht for half day, 600baht for full day.
When in ao nang, cupcake is famous,
In phiphi, its fruit shake. Awesome!!
No need to booking anything first when going there. Just go, and start planning everythings there.
