Yes, ask for Banker's Cheque or Bank Draft(same thing). As for the fee, can't remember Web Applications Which online banking you are using ?, which one is good ?

QUOTE(sotong168 @ Jun 8 2007, 06:08 PM) ok guys, need your advice in a scenario like this, huh ? why dont use bank book. free of charge right ?if a person would like to transfer a sum of rm10k from Bank A to bank B over the counter (as he doesn't has online banking & current account, and he will meet Bank B officer in the end for other business talk), what would be the best & save way for the transaction: a) withdraw cash frm Bank A and bank-in to Bank B b) transfer over counter and pay the charges (btw, how much?) c) any other method and how much is the charges? thks~ just bring ur bank book along with u when u want do the transaction. can do right ? Added on June 12, 2007, 8:46 pm QUOTE(ericjeff @ Jun 12 2007, 03:47 PM) that maybank2u is the biz. not the normal user (no charge at all), i think there is a thread about this as well in trade zone resource center. huh ?maybank2u is the business ? maybank2u quite nice to use also. hehe ^^ wat mean tat i think the RM10 apply to all the maybank2u user la.. Found out some info regarding withdrawn money from atm machine more than 5 times will charge Rm 0.50.
If your account has less than Rm 5000, the bank will charge u Rm 0.50 after u exceed the 5 times withdrawn limit in a month. Just found out on the notice paste on the bank beside atm machine. |

The bank that you're referring to I assumed to be Maybank. If your account has less than Rm 5000, the bank will charge u Rm 0.50 after u exceed the 5 times withdrawn limit in a month. Just found out on the notice paste on the bank beside atm machine. Well, most of the Maybank ATM cardholders are aware of it. |

QUOTE(Joshua_0718 @ Jun 13 2007, 07:58 PM) Yeah. I suppose newspaper stated very long time ago. But, other bank like Public Bank doesn't charge after withdraw more than 5 times? Other banks usually charge an annual fee of RM 8 for the ATM they issued to you.So, it's either way but I still prefer Maybank's style. At least no need to pay annual fee and plan your withdrawal well. |

I'm using Maybank2u. Satisfied with the service provided but there are rumours saying that they'll start to charge RM10.00 per month for the service =/
