QUOTE(David83 @ Jan 24 2006, 12:04 AM) Anybody tried on paying the PTPTN monthly repayment through internet banking? Any bad experiences on this matter? Stitchy® w/o stitches I am paying thru Maybank2u since mid-2004. It is great & convenient despite the RM1 charge per transaction. The first time i paid i was so nervous (knowing our gov depts ), i called PTPTN up after payment..confirm money received. Now they will send a balance statement via post to us, i got mine late last year - the figures are spot-on correct !! Hint: You can pay more than 1 mnth installment(or any amount for that matter) to save on the transaction charges.

I use Hotlink, and of late maybank2u's TAC system is slow. Received about 2-3 hrs later, by that time the TAC no longer valid already

QUOTE(paSSerby @ Jul 6 2006, 10:04 PM) I use M2U & HSBC at the moment ...
I prefer M2U because it is more secure than HSBC eventhough both has the common features like fund transfer, bill payment ....etc
I like your reasoning & analysis there. That's why i think at the moment, M2U is still the best (for online banking only).

QUOTE(David83 @ Jul 8 2006, 12:21 AM) How much Maybank2u charges for a payment made to PTPTN? RM2? RM1. The transaction charge is shown when you reach the payment confirmation page. I usually pay for several months installament to save on these charges.

QUOTE(David83 @ Feb 15 2007, 04:38 PM) The extra security is similar to Maybank2u or CIMBClicks TAC. The only difference on PBebank PAC is the requested TAC is only valid for that particular login (into Internet Banking) session. Like that PAC more secure than TAC. But both PAC/TAC are more practical than the silly hand tokens which will burn your RM50 if you lose them.

The new Maybank2U interface is slow and poorly designed. Various folks facing login probs as well. The old site worked fine, why change it?

Just to share,
I found out recently that if you lose your Maybankard ATM and get a replacement, you have to register a new Maybank2u account. So the old user/pass cannot be used.
However if you really insist on continuing with the old user/pass AND the user/pass has never been compromised, you could ask the staff the link the new ATM card to your existing M2U acc.
