QUOTE(maslight @ Sep 27 2006, 09:00 AM) I didn't receive anything from BCB or CIMB.QUOTE(acougan @ Sep 27 2006, 10:26 AM) any idea how this registration/TAC works? i went to 2 different ATMs to register, so far no confirmation sms sent to my number or any message/status change at cimbclicks account. wait for Oct 7th!?? It should work like Maybank2u TAC.You just register your handphone number where you want the TAC to send to. After registration at the ATM, you won't receive any confirmation. In order to test if your registration is success, you simply request a TAC on 7th October or later dates. |

Sorry for asking a repeating question. If I place my money for fixed deposit in Maybank using Maybank2u.com, do I still need to pay a visit to the branch like if I would like to terminate the FD after the maturity date. Please advise ... thank you.

Please advise ... thank you. just do it for a month (or any period u like) & instruct it to auto-debit back into your account uopn maturity. dont choose auto-renewal!if some sudden emergnecy crops out and u need to cash out irregardless of the lost interests, go to your home branch to collect cert & cash out. other branch, i think its not possible/have to pay a high administrative fee. erm, abt the BCB TAC thingie, i guess we have to wait until Oct7th at least. I use Public Bank and Maybank Online Banking services. So far I didn't encounter any major problem.
Just once I can't login into Pbebank.com and received the error said I was using invalid username and / or password. But after half an hour, I managed to logged in. Strange... For Maybank, last two days I can't access to their website. I think maybe some of the banks are upgrading their systems. But I still prefer Maybank because it is the online payment method that accepted by most of the online merchants! |

PBeBank is Good, But like everyone said, limited features.
Anyway ya. Hong Leong and RHB is Nice also. Maybank2U is more public, more people use. so no choice have to use that. |

It's quite true that PBebank is kind of limited especially on the payee list.

I have been charged for 50 cents to perform a withdrawal over the counter at BCB branch in a non-adjacent states. If know earlier, I better use my ATM card. The purpose of withdrawing over the counter is to update my passbook. Wondering if I just update the book, will they charge me for that?
