Of course you need to apply for it. I'm not sure about Maybank but for BCB, you need to register and wait till they mail you the PIN. It was last time and I don't know now. QUOTE(ayu @ Aug 3 2006, 11:42 PM) Not the maybank can apply it on ATM machine? I guess so. QUOTE All Maybank Savings, Current accountholders and Credit cardholders may apply. Just sign up over the counter at any Maybank branch* or simply go to our ATMs nationwide to get your PIN and Access number. You will receive your Access Number and PIN immediately upon registration.

BCB & PBE is rm2 per transaction btw. Refer back to my previous post back, AmBank has the least service charge! RM0.50 per transaction for the first 2 transactions in a month, thereafter RM2.00 But I don't know why I was not charged for single cents on Interbank GIRO that I transferred few days ago. The second is Alliance Bank which is RM1 flat rate per transaction.

Seems like AmBank and Alliance Bank are the good choices if you do a lot of inter-bank fund transfer.

I been using maybank quite a while now. Its the best among all the banks in Malaysia, still need some improvement on the fund transfer section, at times its very confusing.
