You can do this, I tried this before and it worked

1. Changed IDE driver to generic in Device Manager (on old system)
2. Uninstalled relevant drivers
3. Removed all relevant devices from Device Manager
4. Safe boot
5. Driver cleaner
6. Change to new system
7. Boot
8. Install proper drivers (some were auto found, others installed manually)
9. Updated drivers to latest version

I don't know much about Trinity APU, but that is quite high. Maximum temperature is 74C. Have you enabled CnQ in BIOS, and other power saving as well? Check your Windows Power Options as well. If that fails use AMD PSCheck to control its P-States and undervolt

EDIT: For crying out loud guys, please stop quoting the pictures. No one wanted to see that continuously in one page shakehead.gif

why you quote more than a year post?

Bulldozer has fail to compete with Sandy bridge.

Are you running in a air-conditioned room and what is the room temp. Due to the fact that it is an APU (CPU+GPU) running games on it will have the temp rise for both. Might as well get a 3rd party cooler to disperse the heat faster from the APU.

my room temperature is around 27 celcius. not air-contidioned room.

I am using a 3rd party cooler, cm hyper tx3 evo. I even removed and reapplied the thermal paste but the temperature is still the same.. sweat.gif

I don't think Hyper TX3 is sufficient to cool down the A10 5800K, though you could probably use higher CFM 92mm fan, or put 2nd fan to make push-pull

Have you tried running your PC with sidepanel open? That is the best way to determine whether your PC circulates enough airflow inside.

so I have just 1 fan on the tx3 evo right now.. is it better to set the fan to pull air or to push air?

You could try experiment on your system. Try to switch from push to pull and see whether that changes the temperature.
