Academically, definitely Cranfield for MSc smile.gif

but then Aberdeen Uni is really rich in tradition & history so you'll probably experience more things over there which is a real plus too

Cranfield, if I am not mistaken is a privately funded university, like Henley and Ashridge Business Schools. Hence be prepared to pay higher fees.

processed food is usually okay...

in addition, uk is quite lax in this area, unlike oz or nz, as the uk now does not have a major agriculture industry now.....

in any case, it would have been an exercise in futility, as there is free movement of people (and whatever are in their bags) to and from the continent.....

rent is about 20-40 pound
food is about 20-30pound(self cook, buy at market)

basically, in UK, the food is slightly higher than msia, not much... but slight.....

e.g. cabbage.. in msia it might cost RM 2.00, in UK, it cost about 30-50pee...

there is something wrong with these figures....

20-40 quid rent a week is too cheap.....

20-30 quid food a day is too expensive!.....

per week basis....

on weekend, I would go to market with housemate... and buy lump sum of 100-150 pound of groceries shared by 5 people... the food lasted decently a week... sometime I might spend more for own food like McD, restaurant etc... tongue.gif

there is no way you are going to get a room in oxford for 20 quid a week...

the average will be 60-70 pounds....some less desirable ones may go for 40-50 pounds........

and btw, they normally charge per head....so a couple will have to pay double minus some discount.....but utilities charges will definitely be double......

Then the figure you posted is extremely misleading and can cause problem to other people. It's like saying living in KL is as cheap as Ipoh and therefore you can budget your living expenses as such.
