Welcome..really good news to me

Liverpool have confirmed a fee has been agreed with FC Porto for the transfer of Portuguese midfielder Raul Meireles to Anfield.

The 27-year-old, who started all four of his country's games in this summer's World Cup, will now undergo a medical and discuss personal terms on Merseyside before completing his move to the Reds.

Watched the season review at supersport 3 of our closest season to the title while having sahur. Almost bawwed..

Alonso did so much for us back then, i hope Meireles can deliver the good stuff and make good passes for the strikers. We do have some cash left from the Masch deal rite? Time to get a proven striker Roy!

Hey guys, rmb that goal scored by Paul Konchesky on on the 2006 FA cup final ? Liv-West Ham ... benayoun was still in west ham by that time looks noobie

wow, i'm impressed. the deal was done and its offical, and there wasnt even any rumours about it ! good job roy to keep the media off grid. anyways, i'm pretty sure konchesky will be coming, and if possible, i think roy would look to add a striker, possibly toivonen or c.cole though i feel we would be priced out by their respective clubs. once again, welcome meireles.

now tat we hv meireles i hope gerard can go back playing up front behind torres without hving to back track too much for defence

RH done a very gud job so far in the transfer window.. All the new signings are promising n there might stil b 1 or 2 that might come in...

I hope they get the PSV striker instead of Cole but isn't the PSV guy cup tied? Or mayb RH wil make another unexpected signing...

Looks like Insua is back to the club .... It's gud to have 3 left backs now, so the competition for a starting position wil b better n we have a bigger squad n more fresh legs...

But there doesn't seems to be an news on Lucas for today, but im really hoping tat he leaves ! Get Diarra as replacement... Miereles, Poulsen n Diarra as defensive mid wil make Liverpool 1 hell of a team to be cracked!

Really hoping Liverpool wil bring in 1 more midfield n 1 more striker... n looks like Diarra most probably wil end up in Liverpool (A lot of rumors linking him to Liverpool n hope so its true)...

which diarra are we bringing in ? The Malian or French ?

Konchelski play well with fulham...so just give a faith on him to deliver...eventhough he's old...what for getting in star's player that cannot deliver..waste of money

i think we r already a bit crowded in midfield dun u think?and we can only use 5 mids at max so better stop spending in midfielder anymore,should go for 1 more striker and we r good to go until Jan if not farther

-Ola Toivonen
-Remy
-keisuke honda

all of them were link with us.. so lets hope for the best..

Is 5 considered crowded? We got FA cup, League cup, UEFA cup and EPL.. There is a lot of games to be played n we cant expect the same person to play each n every game n if there is an injury or suspension we would have hoped tat we had more players...

They should sign a midfielder if Lucas leave, else we wil be havin 4 DM's if we get either 1 of the Diarra's... Tat wil be crowded...

But I really hoping to see Babel starting today! He seems to be boost up n he deserve his chance to shine too.... n it looks like its time for him to show his worthiness to RH..

What is his strenghts and weakness?

i still think Roy will have 1 more surprise signing in attack. doubt it will be toivonen. huntelaar perhaps?

what number do you think meireles will wear? i've seen him use 16 and 6 before, but both are taken. 11 perhaps?
