and he dares to post something at the glory hunter thread.LOL.
no world class goalkeeper.have faith in almunia just like how we trust wenger.he's our current no 1.if wenger thinks he's good enough to be as he is now,we should too. |

I think Almunia is got enough if the he got discipline defending by his team mates. Arsenal often leave too much space in centre when opponet began to counter attack. Too much player attacking upfront perhaps.

he has to be a bit vocal and commanding like Jens. the back 4 is good enough to me, each has decent backups. internationals come again, i dont like them. i just hope everyone comes home with their bodies intact. ~

but with gibbs out, we don't really have an established left back right?
hope clichy will regain his form during the past 2 seasons. vermy had been saving his face quite some times already. |

what a steal, Spurs got VDV for 8mill only.... I would really like VDV to join arsenal as stated by my previous post.... dam he is world cup final match's Dutch captain for God's sake!!!
i really wanna see... Walcott-Fabregas-VDV-Arshavin RVP-MC but nevermind....screw VDV, lets focus on what we already have....in reality, we dont always get what we hoped for. life is making something out of what you were given. |

somehow I didn't feel dejected at all when I found out Wenger didn't sign a new GK on the last day of transfer window. after being a Gooner for quite some time you sort of 'get used' to this kind of thing lol.
and VDV to spuds? why butthurt? he's unproven in EPL, plus I don't think he's THAT good at all, slightly above average maybe. as someone pointed out earlier, we have Rosicky, Fab, Wils etc in that position so good luck for him with spuds. come NLD we're gonna beat them anyway hahahaha~ |

One last mention about the lack of a new keeper, I think arseblogger sums it up: QUOTE So I'm disappointed that we didn't sign a goalkeeper but not hugely disappointed that we didn't sign Mark Schwarzer. Come to think about it, if we signed Schwarzer maybe Arsenal will get a bit more showtime in Australia... that's the only good thing I could think of. And Nacer is on loan to Vitesse Arnhem rather than Rangers.... wonder what changed his mind... maybe a step closer towards going back home? As much as I like him as a player and wishes to see him in our first team, I've a feeling that he will eventually leave like Merida / Simpson. |

personally, i think AW did a decent jobs in this transfer window...
first, we got chamack for free.. he is a proven striker in french league.. and he is what we lack off.. a brave striker who "went in" to challenge for ball... evidence: reina's own goal..... 2nd, we got koscielny.. first match against liverpool.. he looks compose at the back... and he did pretty jobs against torres.. a little harsh for the 2nd yellow and result sending off..torres flick the ball and hit him.. and it came in sudden.. 2nd match against blackburn gave him a little lesson and show premier is better league, beaten by the pace of diouf.. so, he might need some time to figure out, what is the aspect that he needed to improve... tecnique wise, no problem... physical wise... yes... especially against the beast like drogba.... 3rd, squilaci.. an experience defender who able to won the aerial challenge and will normally stay as last man, which solve the problem when vermy going forward... already prove his worth when he is in lyon.. but, we share see in coming much... for the moments, i m optimistic... going out on loan? sending traore to juve is good decision too... since we have too much of left back.. and he might get his chance to improve... in the worst scenario when clichy and gibbs is out, vermy and song still play that position... dont forget about the versatile eboue... about LB problem... clichy still cannot get back to his best after that injured... i dont mind if wenger try gibbs at that possible for some matches... Let's clichy know he need to work hard for the starting XI.. miss out on schwarzer? i think alumnia start to prove himself can be the number one... he tried so hard.. and even "bang" his head towards the post, which show his commitment... although he did some mistake, but i guess, if our defensive partnership improve.. we will see a lot of "clean-sheet" matches soon... fabianski wise.. i dont know, i will prefer mannone as 2nd choice keeper instead of him.... Miss out on VDV? i guess, we have enough attacking talents, VDV is not better than Rosicky or nasri either, of course.. our captain is way too far in front of him... what we need? personally, i think we really need to get a DM, i worried that when Song is injured.. no one can deputy him... Diaby create more danger to the back 4 due to his nature of "holding ball for too long".... i was excited by the rumuors of melo? but, we din get him... anyway, i guess wenger will transform someone to that position if Song is out... Eboue? may be? So, 3 impresive signing with less than 20 mills sum up the decent jobs in transfer market.... |
