QUOTE(yuhi @ Aug 23 2010, 04:09 PM) I have a question, did the f20am on your a850 fire??? I thought a850 can wirelessly trigger f58am even without the f20am (sry I'm noob in this somebody enlighten me) Yes, the F20AM was mounted on the A850 and fired to trigger the two units of F58AM. The Sony's wireless flash triggering system requires a flash (either a built-in flash or a F20AM / F58AM mounted on camera) in order for it to work. It will not work any other ways. |

not unless you have a radio trigger ie. pocketwizard and the likes...
Added on August 23, 2010, 4:19 pmzstan, why do u need a hydrometer? any modern non-DIY-ed drybox will have one built in... This post has been edited by lwliam: Aug 23 2010, 04:19 PM |

QUOTE(zstan @ Aug 23 2010, 04:12 PM) guys...thinking of getting a hydrometer... 40-50, most ppl set at 45%. its just for long storage to prevent fungal growth... but if u bring the camera* out often, fungus will not grow even the camera is expose to UV or sun for mere 1 sec, or even felt the wind from shutter/mirror, fungus also very picky with their growing area. what's the optimum humidity for our gears a? 40 %? n how is the power consumption for a small dry box? the power consumption, is erm, u on ur laptop 1 day, u can use the drybox 1 year. the price looks so cheap for this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/SLR-Magic-35mm-f-1-7-M...t=Camera_Lenses only USD100 and free shipping! QUOTE What is really special about this lens is that it is very light weight (~100g) and only has four special aperture blades . When wide open it produces silky smooth bokeh. When closed down to f2.8 it forms a slightly star shape and photos start to swirl similar to that of the Schnider Xenon lens and the bokeh has a slight LOMO feel to it. When When closed down to f8 it starts to form a squarelooking shaped aperture openning photos look similar to that of the four bladed Schnider Super Angulon lens. It is the signature of the SLR Magic lens and it is quite interesting. A perfectly round aperture is achieved at f2 for the 35mm f1.7 lens so it is great to use as a standard lens as its FOV becomes 52mm on the NEX camera. |
