Is it just me or are the pictures in the LCD screen on the camera looks awesomely amazing. Especially the colors. But once uploaded into a computer screen its looks dull. Sharpness I can understand from small screen to big screen. But the colors... And i thought I got the perfect contrast from the LCD screen only to get disappointed.

Not too sure what to do here. But I want the same colors from the camera's LCD screen to be loaded on to the computer screen without editing. What can be done?

just want to ask, which one better between s95 and LX5? this is going to be my first camera and i'm in dilemma now

Those 2 camera's photo quality are too close where its all up to your skills to make the good photos.

I heard S95 has a slight edge in low light while the LX5 has the slight edge in sports pictures.

Don't get a headache you can't go wrong with either.

I got the S95 and yes it does take great low light photos without flash.

Normal case is 1+1, unless seller pay for additional warranty, or they warrant themselves.

You can register the warranty online here:

it used to be 1+2...now i guess 1+1.
iirc u need to register online within 14 days of purchase.
u will also need a receipt cos u need to enter the place u purchased from as well as receipt number...
so not sure how empty purchase date is going to help here.

100 Confirm? is it apply for every S95 in Msia?
Cuz Im confused. Before that, some told me 2years, some 3 years...
what's the meaning of 1 + 1 actually?
local and international warranty?

the seller told me, keep the warranty date empty. so when the camera got problem nid to claim warranty, we only fill up, in order to prolong the warranty period (means play cheat lol ) but without register online, we only can get 1 year warranty?

2nd day use.
The manual mode very hard to use.
Auto mode looks nice in camera screen, but not on computer screen.
is it because of the auto mode? the quality looks just a little better than my s95.
sometimes human skin color looks weird under auto mode. =(

chdk something like firmware enchantment for canon,

CHDK is a firmware enhancement that operates on a number of Canon Cameras. CHDK gets loaded into your camera's memory upon bootup (either manually or automatically). It provides additional functionality beyond that currently provided by the native camera firmware.

CHDK is not a permanent firmware upgrade: you decide how it is loaded (manually or automatically) and you can always easily remove it.

Photo spam of a shot that I took in a temple in Laos. Love this nifty little bugger. Works just as well as the 60D in many conditions. smile.gif
