Proud owner here it's worth for you to pay up to RM1300. All my

but the battery life is pretty bad isn't it.
and have no optical zoom.

if canon can solve those, i would definitely buy it!

is it normal the battery is hot while operating? when i plug out the battery, can feel the battery is quite hot..

Depends on how many photos you take. I don't have much batt problems since I don't take more than 200 pics in one day. I think I can take 250+ pics til the batt is drained out since I don't use flash. Flash can drain the batt fast. Anyways this problem can be solved by getting a spare batt.

Which is what I'm looking for. Where can I get a cheap spare batt for the S95? Buying the batt from the Canon brand is too expensive.

s95 so cheap, pity resale value of my s90

it is aiming for the compact route so want view finder then u need to go for G12 which is typically same except for the zoom range, view finder and the LCD tat can flip n bend.

Anyway if they put those viewfinder on s95 also i think is useless since it will be like the other compact PnS which is so small tat u rather used the LCD screen.

Bro where can i get the camera with Rm 1399 + the leather case, i checked mid valley canon outlet yesterday 16/12/2010 and they told me S95 sold out within whole malaysia oledi, there is no more leather case, just cheap soft case.

No stock will be available untill c'xmas!

I just got one yesterday.
Paid SGD$600 + 4gb card, leather case and screen protector.
Paid extra SGD$20 for third party spare battery. (Original cost SGD$60).
But i did not have the lanyard for the case la... have to buy seperately?
