Meh, I still stick to Modaco

I was dozing off yesterday when I did my sdcard swap. Continue from what I posted above, I formatted my new 8gb Class 10 sdcard and plug it in. I was stuck at HTC boot screen.

I put it back into my computer and copy all my files from the old sdcard and put it in. I flashed successfully to NextSense 5.3 (THANK GOD I HAD BACKUP!).

I used Titanium Backup to restore my data and went to bed halfway through the process. In the middle of the night, I woke up and saw the phone telling me there is not enough space. Quick System Info tells me that I do not have App2SD partition.

So here I go again, installed Rom Manager. Partition the sdcard, it auto-formatted it. Then, I repeat the entire process by going to my computer, transfer files from the old sdcard, reflash to NextSense, boot up and restore using Titanium Backup.

8gb sdcard. Format gives me 7.39gb or something. Partition app2sd gives me a balance of 6.8gb. Hope it's enough considering one Gameloft games data takes up about 150MB.

Glad its over. Going back to sleep.

After the success last night, went to sleep.
Woke up want to try a few things but keep getting frustrated. Hope can get more help from sifus.

Issues 1
Cannot connect to internet via maxis.
I can make and receive calls / sms fine.
*#*#info#*#* shows I am connected HSPDA
Can use internet via wifi.
Tried to use APN settings from online sources as below

Issue 2
Can't get google map / navigation to work.
Keep saying "getting drive direction", map is grey out

Issue 3
Install swype 1.56.30.7625 but don't seems to work.
Under settings>keyboard, I can tick to unable swype, but its not available in messages etc. Any ideas ?

Swype Input method not showing up? Long press in any Input Box the click the Input Method once the dialog pop up.

1. APN Type : Default, mms
2. Navigation won't work in Malaysia unless you use BRUT map or SQURL map.

Nope, long press there is only 2 options, Touch Input and HTC_IME mod.

Anybody knows what is Spareparts for ? there is a swype and htc_ime mod option there.

Yes, just flash NextSense 5.3 last night. Trying to reinstall back all the apps I have previously. One of the first is install swype 1.56.30.7625. Any idea why its not showing up on input selection ?

Old Swype can't be used on FroYo. Only beta version can.

anyone know where to download the navisea file? they said got file 1 to 5... i cant really read chinese text there on papago site..

I got but need login for that and registration close months ago.

YESSS...finally downgrade Hboot from 0.92 to 0.80. Install NextSense 5.3..all went up well. So now, just want to know beside NextSense, any other better ROM out there...Pls receommend..TQ

May i know, for your swype beta, what version number does it show ?
If it still can't work, I might switch to SlideIt.

Anyone using WidgetLocker on NextSense5.3 custom ROM? There is problem changing wallpaper in widgetlocker, already changed it (Checked "Alternative Wallpaper" and selected wallpaper) but still showing the main home wallpaper when in lockmod.

On a rooted phone how to access pay apps from market? NextSense5.3 comes with market enabler but I can seem to access pay apps in Market. I try look for market access app but couldnt find, where u guys downloaded market access from?

Where did you download from? I thought its for closed beta only? Mine only version 1.47.24.6826.t100
