I've been having problem logging in to Google Talk in my hotel wifi and office wifi in Ireland... Wondering if it is blocked or what? There's no problem logging in to GTalk via my PC though

Also, in KL I can login to GTalk via my home wifi or 3G connection, but having problem connecting to GTalk via my KL office Wifi
So can I confirm that Gtalk doesn't really work for certain wifi connections?

After the success last night, went to sleep.
Woke up want to try a few things but keep getting frustrated. Hope can get more help from sifus.

Issues 1
Cannot connect to internet via maxis.
I can make and receive calls / sms fine.
*#*#info#*#* shows I am connected HSPDA
Can use internet via wifi.

Issue 2
Can't get google map / navigation to work.
Keep saying "getting drive direction", map is grey out

Issue 3
Install swype 1.56.30.7625 but don't seems to work.
Under settings>keyboard, I can tick to unable swype, but its not available in messages etc. Any ideas ?

lolz, just get rooted to .AuraxTSense v7.3 this morning, now came out the v7.4 pula :S

i was using 3G without any problem before for two weeks. no settings were changed in Wireless and Network.

After 3G connection failed, i keyed in the APN setting manually. still no connection.

Is there a way now to manually link each phone contact with facebook friend? because default htc sense facebook will link all automatically and pull in any FB contacts that have telephone numbers... it's quite annoying "feature"..

Any solution now?

Baru got my Desire during Merdeka Day and Lovin' It lots.

Problem I have now is its Micro USB.
I have a couple of chargers all left over from my now bricked HTC Diamond using the Mini USB.

Does anyone sell a "Mini USB -> Micro USB" converter?

I don't understand why everyone wants to use Micro USB, it feels so fragile and not that much smaller than Mini USB anyway.

how come when I connect to mobile internet, I always get Edge connection only?

I have already enable both Maxis 3G internet under APN and turned on Mobile Internet.

Please help. I used to get 3G connection but now only Edge.
