If you partition using rom manager, it will make ext3/ext4 directly~~

Done Titanium backup and Nandroid backup.
Nandroid was of course via the ClockworkMod Recovery v2.5.0.1 which was loaded with unrevoked with SLCD img.

Now, to partition the sdcard, besides using Paragon Partition Magic, can I do it via ClockworkMod ?
In the menu there are reboot system now, apply sdcard:update.zip, wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache partition, install zip from sdcard, nandroid, partitions menu and advanced.

Under the partitions menu there are many options mount/system etc and format boot etc and mout usb storage.

Can any of these options be used to format and partition my sdcard to fat32 and ext3 ?

i did the partition from ROM manager
but then i dunno how to check whether i got ext 2 / 3
draco said if use ROM manager and partition from there.. it will have ext 3/4 oh ~

Weirdness ! How come yours so fast ? I am on streamyx 1mb leh. Using premium rapidshare somemore. Getting 20kb/s speed only. Still 70mb to go.....sigh.
Can anybody help regarding the partition thingy ?
Do I need to install ROM Manager from market ? Not very keen to do that, worried will get black screen as the clockworkmod is not the latest version if i understand correctly from the forums.

yes, over see the a2sd......
a2sd and a2sd is almost the same just where the dalvik cache place, system will only recognize as a2sd.....

I just received my 8gb kingmax class 10 sdcard. I just transferred the files from my old sdcard, pull it out. Put in this new one and place the file back. Everything include the ext3 partition would work, no?

u mean u have to partition one more time or i partition it wrongly and i have to partition one more time?

no, what you copy is just files in FAT...you cant copy file in ext3 with windows....

ROM manager only got 1 partition IIRC

No idea. Took me 15 minutes for all ROM even modaco. Open Desire less because on 7xmb.

You need repartition as partition can't be viewed.

I got it working at first but after playing around with it for a while (removing / adding it) the events disappeared. Not like I can't live without it but just curious to know why it doesn't work anymore

Ok, which is the best way to re-partiition the new sdcard? What about my data from this partition? All lost?

Actually, what's stored in there? Can I just restore from Titanium Backup?
