this is the one i'm trying to get http://www.mudah.my/Waja+1+8+black+premium...pec-8107176.htmsome comment their waja is still good, just do normal service while others say this spoil that spoil. it's like in 10 drivers, 7 with lots of problem and 3 with less/no problems. like wira, i used to drive a 1993 wira, with 499000km mileage. served me well except for the back lower arm which caused by a bad accident. no power window problem and nothing wrong with it. so i think..maybe this one can be a problem free car like my previous one? cause i do service on time i take good care of my car and theres actually a few comments saying if you service the car on time (gear oil, engine oil and all) then the car will be fine.

It's up to you if you wanna go for the car..but all of us here have doubt on the reliability of this specific model..as a poverb has said "don't judge the book by it's cover". Hope you understand all of our explanation.

is the power difference really really noticeable between the 1.8model and 1.6model? and for the 1.6model which batch is the best as in less problem and more reliable?

the 1.8 as far as i can remember the spark plugs are expensive, and not many technicians know how to maintain that engine. Also cannot find many performance parts and we cant help you much in modifiication and maintenance. As for 1.6, the engine is robust and lasts long, and it can be reflashed and you can most probably outperform the 1.8 .

after spending 2 nights of reading...i think i'll just skip the 1.8 version as i dont think i'm ready to handle lots of major repair in the future plus all the 1.6 parts are also cheaper.
any of you guys have friend or know any dealers who have a great buy? i'm buying cash.
will visit the car dealer tomorrow but prefer to buy directly from owner.
Added on January 22, 2011, 4:27 amedit : oh hey! i remember you...i COD with you before at a petrol station in ss14 to decarbonize my proton wira. you said my carbie is clean and responsive. i'm the owner of the very noisy wira
