Toll booth doesn't accept CC.

Petrol stations charge 50 cents for each reload. If you reload RM 250, you need to do it twice.

Maybank ATM also charge 50 cents.

Therefore, I prefer to top up at KL Sentral T&G Centre with CC without no charge imposed.

The PLUS office at Sg Besi, heading from south, does accept creditcards.

Anyone participate in AMEX 10x point couple months back? The promo ended 31st of July, my August and September statement still does not show any 10x point although I am 100% sure I met all criteria and eligible for it.

One thing about tis CIMB DA. The 2% fuel rebate end this 31st Dec 2010, so boo!!! I wonder if they gonna cont these rebates next year?

21/9/2010 Received call from Credit Processing Team (a sweet voice lady) that my NRIC & cc photocopy were too dark, and was asked for clearer copies. I resubmitted the form via email given by her.
30/9/2010 Called OCBC Automated Self Service and was told application was successful!

This is my experience with OCBC

Although the OCBC TI cc offer me the CL not so high, but it's much enough for me to spend.

This is indeed a very good promotion and    for OCBC to enable bill payment using credit card  
But too bad for those registered auto-billing.

Your calculation is wrong... you need to calculate separately for 3% and 5% rebates...
3% rebate has a capping of RM200 for the whole promotion period (29 Sep 2010 to 31 Dec 2010)
5% rebate has a capping of RM100 each month until 31 Dec 2010

Maxis & Astro is not part of the OCBC Payee listing at the moment.

To maximise the 3% + 5%, you need to spend RM2000 a month for Utility bills via Online. If you go above the RM2k threshold, you won;t get full 8% but only 3%, as the 5% monthly cap would have reached at RM2k (RM2000 x 5% = RM100)

Is your bill consumption very high? It is really depends on your usage either to go for auto-billing or online payment.
But for TNB, water(although hardly got any difference) and assessment/quit rent is very good rebate for online payment.

But I'm wondering if you have auto-pay for TM, and you pay one day advance before the bill charge (rough estimation, maybe left a couple of ringgit) whether you will still entitled for autobilling discount or not. You get double rebate, ha! But I doubt it will work.
