Yeah was wondering and when i clicked on the link it went to google images. Looks like a mini turbo. Btw, i read this in Saga BLM forum: QUOTE at the moment .. the 180kmh is the milestone of any BLM owners want to reach. any faster than that, i have yet to hear from any of them. may be they cannot be he to tell the story! huhuhu
the 180 stories so far are these - at 180- 1. you are at the tip of your nerve. hands are locked on the steering wheel! frozen! 2. you are in between of being TOOO EXCITED and TOO PANIC to think and do anything. hahaha .... oblivious!seriously! 3. you are on top of the world! TOOO HAPPY to care about whats around you. 4. you are already warmed up as a speed demon since you already hitting 140-160 for the last 5-10 minutes!
your car - 1. it is floating on the road. the traction is so thin, a slight twitch is a sure tumbler! 2. engine is screaming at 6000RPM (Manual) 5000++RPM (Auto), crying begging for you to stop killing the engine! 3. engine roars, fills your ears and making your deaf! ear wax are dropping out on your shoulders! 4. cracking its body, wind swirls and all the ever imagine will come to your senses!
the truth is 180 is achievable. if - 1. roads', car suspension's condition and wind are right. 2. there are no traffic lights in the 10km stretch 3. there are no police / jpj around 4. there are no cars with 1.6 and above or modified engines around! 5. you are ready to be 60 seconds off your logical brain!
at that speed, who cares about a lorry overtaking you? hehehehe goyang ka? hehehehe after 120, the only thing that is goyang is your lutut! not sure to continue pressing the gas or not! humming sound is there purely because BLM chassis is so not-soundproof! spend RM1000 plus to soundproof the car like BMW or Honda, you'll see what i mean. not stable? it is all stable unless the road condition is not, the balancing is not, the tyre pressure is not and the driver is not!
ALL IN ALL: Still .. dont speed. it kills! drive you BLM with wisdom and love.

Its a city car. Not meant to be driven at 180 kph.
Doing so is suicide and nobody will show any pity when your wrecked car appears in the news.
Only consolation is that crashing in Saga at 180 will be the best (and last) driving experience you will come across.

Hi i hav 1 question for those saga blm manual driver. Any 1 feel swithing within low gear above 2k rpm feeling not smooth ? For example when wan to switch from 1st to 2nd, when the moment u press clutch d car will slow down abit. So passager inside will feel ur driving not smooth. Normally before we switch gear d car is accelerating then d moment u press clutch, d car slow down, after d switching gear, acclerate again right .... So this feeling accelerate, slow down & accelerate when switching is very annoying. It not smooth !! So any 1 hav this problem ?? i sit on my friend manual wira & perdana dun hav this problem.

Actually this car can cruise comfortably at 160 especially at north south highway, cornering also ok, that time still on stock rims and suspension.

QUOTE(SiuYi @ Sep 16 2010, 05:39 PM) haf 932 not recommended as campro doesnt suit that kind of add-on, it will cause fault readings within the ECU. Thx siuyi.really hoping for pro advice but wont the ecu will adjust itself due to the addtional air?

Try reaching 3000+ RPM before switching gear. It will sound a bit noisy but smoother.

gear change in saga blm should be at least after 3k rpm. sub 2k rpm gear change is hopeless. and due to no firewall / noise reduction material installed on saga blm, 5.5k rpm in waja / perdana is similar to the sound of 3.5k rpm on saga blm.

guys, im having problem with alignment, recently i rotated my tyre and did tyre alignment n balancing at the same time, but the result is not satisfactory, the car would veer to the left when free my hands from the wheels. I returned to the shop and they adjusted something behind my tyre, saying its fixed, but as soon as i test drove my car, the problem still persists. Should i return to the same shop ? or should i ask another shop to try n fix the prob.
Any idea on what is causing this to happen ? bad workmanship or something wrong with my wheel/handling system?

Gear shift in between 2.4 - 2.6K rpm is ok for me. Quite smooth. If I rev above 3K regularly my petrol consumption will skyrocket. Its already crappy at 20 cents/km.

QUOTE(inoitu @ Sep 15 2010, 02:00 PM) Anyone experience engine going dead while driving? Had this a few times, the Proton ppl send the mobile unit 2 times and checked at SC 2 times. They said a component at the floorboard(changed a used one, no spares) then checked wiring at SC but no problem found. Next they say have to check the computer board. They said takes along time to check. No problem so far, although they didnt change anything. A Anyone had their comp. unit changed? Yap...i had experienced it 7 times.... my service agents couldnt find anything wrong with it for the 1st 6 times...then they change the sensor inside my car and the problem solve... i think the sensor only cost around RM80. But i am still under warranty so its free... try to ask the mechanics to check the electronic sensor. Normally my car would start up after resting for 20 mins or so.. after it "died" on the road..

QUOTE(klk89 @ Sep 11 2010, 11:04 AM) After this incident, I am going to change my tyres to Michelin or Yokohama tyres soon no matter what. I am willing to spend extra money on better grip tyres for my own safety. I think everyone should change their tyres to better ones for their own safety. try bridgestone turanza ar-10 then...really recommended... great grip n wet handling.... got mine rm165 a piece....
