My 4 months old car only has a mileage of 3300km and i want to change the engine oil so badly.
Btw, who often buy engile oil from Zhapalang? The prices are quite reasonable and i've purchased engine oil from them before but im still in doubt whether their oils are original. Added on September 14, 2010, 12:02 pmBtw i have a thing for pennzoil oils but the full range of pennzoils are hard to get. This post has been edited by max_cjs0101: Sep 14 2010, 12:02 PM |

Guys, when you're at the service center changing the engine oil, does your mechanic pour the whole 4L bottle into the engine?
Mine did. Some engine oil is leaking and im not sure whats causing this and when i checked the dipstick, the engine oil is slightly more than the max level. I last changed my oil 2 months ago. |

Yeah was wondering and when i clicked on the link it went to google images.
Looks like a mini turbo. Btw, i read this in Saga BLM forum: QUOTE at the moment .. the 180kmh is the milestone of any BLM owners want to reach. any faster than that, i have yet to hear from any of them. may be they cannot be he to tell the story! huhuhu the 180 stories so far are these - at 180- 1. you are at the tip of your nerve. hands are locked on the steering wheel! frozen! 2. you are in between of being TOOO EXCITED and TOO PANIC to think and do anything. hahaha .... oblivious!seriously! 3. you are on top of the world! TOOO HAPPY to care about whats around you. 4. you are already warmed up as a speed demon since you already hitting 140-160 for the last 5-10 minutes! your car - 1. it is floating on the road. the traction is so thin, a slight twitch is a sure tumbler! 2. engine is screaming at 6000RPM (Manual) 5000++RPM (Auto), crying begging for you to stop killing the engine! 3. engine roars, fills your ears and making your deaf! ear wax are dropping out on your shoulders! 4. cracking its body, wind swirls and all the ever imagine will come to your senses! the truth is 180 is achievable. if - 1. roads', car suspension's condition and wind are right. 2. there are no traffic lights in the 10km stretch 3. there are no police / jpj around 4. there are no cars with 1.6 and above or modified engines around! 5. you are ready to be 60 seconds off your logical brain! at that speed, who cares about a lorry overtaking you? hehehehe goyang ka? hehehehe after 120, the only thing that is goyang is your lutut! not sure to continue pressing the gas or not! humming sound is there purely because BLM chassis is so not-soundproof! spend RM1000 plus to soundproof the car like BMW or Honda, you'll see what i mean. not stable? it is all stable unless the road condition is not, the balancing is not, the tyre pressure is not and the driver is not! ALL IN ALL: Still .. dont speed. it kills! drive you BLM with wisdom and love. |

Anybody installed strut bars in their blm's? Planning to install a 2 point front strut bar soon but unsure whether this will void the warranty.

QUOTE(claxxion @ Oct 4 2010, 01:01 AM) Hi guys, I just realised that my right side fog lamp bulb just died. Is it covered under warranty? My car is only 4 months old. Isn't that a little fast? Read your manual. Its not under warranty. You can go to any accessory shop to have it replaced for less than RM20. |

Im thinking of replacing my right side mirror because it was hit by a RapidKl bus. Anyone knows how much will the mirror set only cost? not the whole side mirror unit.

I think my power steering fluid is leaking at the bottom of the reservoir.
Anyone encountered this before? |

I filled up a full tank before the recent RON95 price increase and i've only clocked 330km and now the meter's showing 2 bars left.
My car's total mileage is only 6660kms and the fc's damn terrible. Running on NASA 10W40 semi syn engine oil. |

That is nothing la.
Try having a broken windscreen and a broken foglamp in the same month where both needs to be replaced. My air conditioning system smells musty and the power steering fluid is leaking. Mileage? 8k kms. |

What engine oil rating do most of you guys use?
Im currently using Nasa 10W-40 but from what i've read some said 10W-40 is considered thich and many would opt for 10W-30. But from what i think, 10W-30 is a little thin. So? |

QUOTE(claxxion @ Jan 26 2011, 03:21 PM) 10W-40 would be fine. I guess the 10W-30 is more suited for smaller engines, like in the kelisa. But then, you never know unless you try. My SC does not allow bringing in your engine oil, and they only provide petronas oils. The 15W-50 syntium seems so thick and heavy. But what to do, I have to retain the warranty for a little while for peace of mind.. lol |
