QUOTE(anneysays @ Aug 18 2010, 11:53 PM) Thanks for your feedback Hm yeah saga is definitely better in terms of safety and space. But i thought that resale value for proton cars are not as good as perodua..even a 7-8 yr old kelisa can still fetch a 2nd hand value of nearly 20k.. and i seem to be hearing alot of issues abt the viva being very fragile too lol. but it should be of the same standard as kancil/kelisa in terms of that? Its just that..the Saga BLM is only 3.5k more than viva. So i really cant decide which one to get. but viva will consume less fuel la for sure cos of the smaller engine.. Seems like the only thing keeping you from buying the Saga is the resale value. Think of it this way: do you plan to sell the car in the next 3 years? 5 years? If not, then don't bother about the resale value, as eventually everything will hit a floor price and even out in the long run. If yes, then I think you know what to do. As for fragility, what people mean is in an accident. The car is small. I would not expect the car to do well in an accident. I don't blame the car. It's the laws of physics.

anneysays, my gf just bought a viva elite (more expensive than my saga blm m-line )...seriously...no power...door is so thin...and the car is so light..space is limited...saga blm is definitly more solid and if safety is important...why not a saga...better package.. I know what you mean. I can't speak for the Viva, but I drove a Kelisa for 4.5 years and when i made the switch to the Saga, the difference was huge. It handled better, was more comfortable, and the overall feel was more refined. Not to mention the space. I guess the best thing is to test drive it. Then maybe anneysays will know what we mean.

i just poke a small hole via the rubber seal that sits between the door panel. make sure it is small enough just nice to fit in the wires...don't want any water leaks in there..
i use a small tip soldering gun to make the hole, other accessories shop just prick it with a sharp object....

aidlover i pay rm30, and it slipped through automatically.LOL.
anneysays make it this way, if u feel perodua made ur day, go ahead. if u wanna give a chance for BLM, then go for a test drive. resell value is plain shit for local cars, u get cheap drive, u save the hassle for having a depreciation there. with higher resell value, u pay more ahead. if i were to sell my BLM, why not i make it a 2nd car and get myself a new car instead? 1.3, roadtax not expensive what..who knows ur kids might need it one day as a practical use vehicle to stick the P sticker and get into the roads to practise their driving skills?
