I think this is good naming scheme, so no need everytime ask 'ur BLM is facelift or ori'...Like Persona, all Persona are Persona, except SE, not good.

ok.lets make it this way.
gen2 campro kosong, gen2 cps, gen2 FL with iafm. all above are gen2. if u talk about gen2 with persona, using same thing, bla bla bla..expect the rear part. then we will be merging New Saga with Savvy then.understand? so by right, BLM, SE, FL are under the New Saga. However our club decided to get the club's name as BLMClub because that time we were separating the old version of saga with the new version. so since BLM is the extra word that makes the differences, so BLM (this term) was used. FL for me is a glamor name. if u notice that, FL chrome wording makes the same sense as the SE chrome wording. BLM is a code name, which Proton did not stick that word on the car at all. hope this clarifies some misunderstandings. afterall FL is also from BLM. p/s: shiro, add a member list for FL please.LOL. |

Anyone come across this experience?? I went to EON showroom to book for the new saga FL (blue rock)on Sunday ... I submit all the document for loan application on that day itself ... Which the salesman told me that I can get that car before CNY as they have the stock ..
I wanted to pay the booking fees RM500 by credit card, but the salesman told me credit card machine not function on that day .. ask me to come over on weekdays during business hour if I wanted to pay card ... Monday, heavy rain so I unable to go for pay the booking fees ... Tuesday, bank called me said my loan approved so I immediately go and pay by cash after office hour ... then the salesman told me .. sorry, we got no more stock for blue rock .. ask me to take cafe latte... The salesman told me that even I book cafe latte, i can change later if i made up my mind ... After an hour, my fren's fren who is a salesman at Proton Edar (dealer) say they have ready stock for blue rock and ask me to cancel the initial booking... Now the problem came... the initial salesman told me that .. if my loan approve and I cancel the booking ... the booking fees will forfeited...but I asked him many times before .. he said I can cancel and can get refund.... damn it |

By right booking fee is non-refundable.
Based on what you said, you are damn unlucky to meet not honest salesman, so ur chance of booking fee from getting refund is much slimmer... If you love that colour, don compromise, urge them find a stock for you. This post has been edited by coolkwc: Jan 25 2011, 11:15 PM |

I just pumped full tank(from 2 bars) for RM55.20, and the car only travelled 214km, before hitting the 2 bar petrol mark. Why is this so, shouldn't i be getting like at least 400km? Since its like 13km++/l claimed by some people? |

Our campro engines are thirsty engines, gearshifts needed to be done with the correct RPM, and a light foot is needed in order to achieve better FC. Mine auto, on average normal usage I get 320km for RM50. Full highway drive under the speed limit I get 413kms on a full tank, my record. |

upon booking, did they issue u a receipt? and on the receipt, did the salesman noted "hardrock blue"?u went for booking alone? or do like what ayieazz said : official letter from other salesman. if u wanna handle it in a harsh way, u can complain direct to proton hq. the director will grind them. |

Since its like 13km++/l claimed by some people? a) First 1000, the mileage is inaccurate. Mileage will improve as your engine settles in.b) Your calculation methods should be the following:- 1) Pump full tank and reset mileage counter to zero. 2) Drive like normal until next refill. 3) Pump full tank again. 4) Make note of how much you pump and how much mileage you travelled. 5) Reset your counter again and repeat the above steps at least 3 times to get an average. The more the better. Use those figures you noted to calculate the FC. So far, manual cars seem to be able to get 11 - 13++ km/l. Auto trannies can get around 9 - 11++ km/l. Depends on traffic conditions and driving style. If you're heavy footed in a jam, sorry lar, you'll never get good FC. And I can tell you, this car is very very thirsty in a jam. Personally, I drive through hell everyday and occassionally go menggila, I can get around +-10km/l. I've noticed vast improvement since I toned down my driving.
