archos 110 better. but i dont like their design that much..

one thing i noticed that CSL is really not that smart...I mean since they signed an agreement with JooJoo to pay for manufacturing costs in exchange for royalty, they might as well bring it and put it under its wings and sell it at a cheaper price..

Then, it is confirmed that CSL MI700 is "not" manufactured in Malaysia...they just bring in the OEM and rename to their own brand CSL ?

Hmmm.....i tot its a proud "buatan Malaysia"...but i might be wrong...hehehehe..

I wonder when Malaysia will come out with their OWN tablet and proudly say " Buatan Malaysia " and Malaysia Boleh.. but right now, I don't think so..

We have a good spec but insane priced Samsung Galaxy Tab;
CSL Spice MI700 still pending for release and 'might be' twin brother, Olive Pad from India;
Archos Android Tablet running Android 2.2 Froyo;
Bunch of tablets from mainland China running Android 1.6 or lower;

What I felt is that we'll still have to wait longer for an affordable tablet with descent spec...

Not long...by end year or early next year, there will be more coming out.

CSL production is mainly for phones...but they are more like a mix and match kind of company...

u forgot NotionInk Adam with a their own UI, JooJoo with their webOS (can install other OS also)...

year end..a lot will come out...

Oh well, since u guys said most should be available in year end, just give some patient to wait for the better.

Hope to get one for Christmas or perhaps for New Year. Then again, is the time for CES 2011.

CES 2010 will be in December at KLCC. It's 3-5 December, if I'm not wrong.

Hope by then there will be some decent units available so I can check out..

where to buy the archos? available in malaysia?

don't have locally in Malaysia. I will bring in 1 unit of 70 250gb HDD version to test out. If good, then i will bring in a few units of HDD and Flash 8gb to sell.
