I'm going to view a few units this weekend. Seriously this kinda 'pow' contractors must be eliminated. The guards could be scared by this contractors. Anyway they are looking for fast money and work guarantee lousy!

Hope I'm not being bz body as I might become of the residents of Spira, IF everything goes smooth this Saturday. I do hope that there will be a strong RA to take care of the neighborhood. Sad to say, some developer do not care about this kinda crooks, unless there are someone important staying in that area. Anyway I will follow this thread closely and do hope to hear some good news.

QUOTE(jeghui @ Mar 29 2011, 09:42 AM) Thanks.. QUOTE(hbm @ Mar 29 2011, 09:44 AM) yesterday my husband went to TTDI office to send the keys and the house defect form, spoken to Encik Yusoff about the TS issues and he replied my email as follows: Great to hear that. "We acknowledge receipt of your complaint defects form and the keys. As for the contractor issue, I will highlight to our Property Management department and will ask them to investigate this issue". We apologize for the inconvenience caused. Regards Mohd Yusof Hope not "janji manis" only.. This post has been edited by Jenn77: Mar 29 2011, 10:13 AM |

QUOTE(naing @ Mar 29 2011, 06:22 PM) As I posted earlier, one of my neighbors is selling his houses, a corner lot, an end-lot and an intermediate. All are type C, 24x70. It's in Jln PA 121. The pricing is very cheap, asking 560k for intermediate(launch price was 510k). Since it is too cheap, maybe bumi-lots:) Anyway, you should check it out www.propertycentre.com.my as you might get a good deal. Thanks Naing for your info, very interesting units & design, esp. the type with abit of land on the side. I have lotsa plants and it will be a good idea to make a small landscape garden. Corner houses needs alot of maintenance, budget really doesnt permit. And if you are interested in corner lot, why don't you try in Viola from TTDI. Someone earlier posted that corner lots pricing from 690k is still available in Viola. I would definitely go for Viola corner instead of buying a sub-sale intermediate in Spira. Added on March 29, 2011, 6:26 pm Renovation? I guess you could extend it in the back side. I don't see anyone doing major renovation in Spira. |

Was at the one of the units today. 1 question, did you all notice that on the first floor laminated flooring, there is water stained mark in all the joinings and when u walk on it there is 'squishing' sound? Anyway its a nice place right at the end of Alam Impian, with tight security, 3 cctv's at the guard entrance & not to forget TS's staff riding his motor pass the unit several times.

QUOTE(KeMM @ Apr 3 2011, 01:27 AM) Hi Jenn, I did have some water accidentally poured onto the laminated floor. water seeps in (is this normal?) and now the area makes that squishy sound when stepped on. Of course not. Laminated flooring is supposed to be 'not friendly with water' and do google around. I suspect there is some issues with the laminate timber flooring installation. Please get the installer or ppl in charge to rectify this matter, in another words is a defect. |

QUOTE(winterad99 @ Apr 9 2011, 07:25 PM) Went to TTDI Alam Impian... it quite "dalam"... Well ur 2 cents is well spend here.. Anyway just to share my 'little' experience that sometimes u got to lose some to win some. I myself went to AI and I see potential in this neighbourhood, but it will take sometime to appreciate. I fell in love with the endlot layout which I find is very generous & practical, in a Interior Designer's point of view, definitely can 'high light' with the layout to make it more interesting. I have to agree with you that the toll is a major setback, at least for low income earner like me. So we got to decide what we want most, convenience or appreciation? Anyway for those who bought & stay there, all the best and do hope to see AI flourish, and for those who opposed, well just buy elsewhere then. Majority are undeveloped land... got one guy guiding a lot of kambing to somewhere.... got ladang kelapa sawit too... =.='' once go out from Alam Impian, need to pay toll.... if more than 500K, better buy double storey at Ampang/Cheras with smaller build up... jm2c... |

I got the director's unit offer as well. Anyway be happy of what we can afford and no matter how we are the ones staying there, just like when I bought my house in PH. A lot of my friends say the place like desert la, unwanted la, near to kampung la.. etc.. Now after 5 years got a little bit development, so I decide to hold on. Again, spira really got great layout, generous.

QUOTE(naing @ Apr 12 2011, 01:03 PM) Nope... I have nothing to do with TTDI:) And I am just a house owner in Spira. Enuff said Naing, I nearly became ur neighbor. Anyway saw ur grills and curtain, looks good from the outside. Btw, keep the alarm active and make sure the roof is secure, yah. But someone come and say that you guys are stupid enough to buy in a place with so many faults, what would you do? Regarding TTDI, I am trying to be fair in here. If every developer is doing it, why single out TTDI? I went to I&P to check a Nuklian in AI before I bought in Spira, they said the same, one house was available due to loan problem:) And Gamuda, Sime derby and many more...... Added on April 12, 2011, 1:09 pm Yeah... you are totally right. As long as we are happy with the place, it doesn't really matter what other are saying:) And I am really happy with what I have in Spira. Again, I have nothing to do with TTDI and don't have any friends and relatives working there too:) |

QUOTE(yiklong38 @ Apr 26 2011, 02:00 PM) Mine is the laminate floor boards push up against each other and caused high points at the joints, according to the ttdi contractor (I can't recall his name) this is workmanship problem, they didn't do it properly. Very obvious in room 2 and 3. No choice need to submit the complaint form. I brought this issue up last month to the ppl in this forum about the bad quality work of the flooring because I view one of the endlot unit, a few houses away from Naing's. I was offered a very high (unreasonable) price for that unit that I later declined. Anyway please have a double and triple check on the laminated flooring on the first floor of your house because I suspect there is alot of water stagnant under the floor boards and sooner or later you will have big problem. I walked on it and its sounds like spongy + water feeling, and it should not feel this way! So dear Spira owners.. please check! |
