i actually got purchase ori apps
forget how much RM...around 200 i think that time (that time still iOS 2, many game apps were expensive and not re-downloadable that time)...otherwise download trial version...

i JBed my ipad for change courier name to "<my name>'s ipad" and backgrounder.

but until now i don't even have time to complete my purchased game in my itouch... already for 4 years i think... like enigmo, crash bandicoot, some games etc... the only complete game is bomberman 1st episode only.

now even i bring over the apps to ipad but still no time to complete it...

sometimes you must understand not everytime you want to buy something it must be your own pocket. It could be a present as well

Agree; if you can't buy what you want now, just put it aside first. Save some money bit by bit ( maybe till iPad2 comes out lol).

Anyway, another thing isI keep watch of ipads apps and games that I want for price reduce, like the Black Friday deals; that was awesome! One time 1 developer made his app free coz he just became a father!

err...care 2 xplain how? coz when i went back to search it the button doesnt indicate Download but Buy instead...

i think just click the buy button try it first, i forget already since i do it once last time haha....
they will confirm with you once again, so don't worry if you "tersilap" click that "buy"button...

Just click on the 'buy' button as per the normal buying process. They will come up a pop up saying that you have already bought the app and if you want to redownload again (or somethin like that). I would recommend that you keep the purchase summary that they sent to you. During the last mega sale, I bought 2 games but it didn't download ( due to my iTunes hanged) anyway, saw the summary and just redownloaded them at no exta cost

wonder if all those 'Apple Saints' in here only buy original DVD movies or not. tsk tsk tsk

i think locally the issue of IP is always tricky to discuss because honestly, who tak pernah buy pirated product? come on.

but i think with apple products in general, you are buying into a certain lifestyle/mindset. if you buy into apple expecting ease of piracy like in other platform, apple may not be the right product for you and crying 'why got no easy to piracy one?' is just crying in the wind. the app store is the product of apple users solidarity in supporting IP and is in fact why iphone/ipod/ipad is a head above the comp.

ive been using computers since some of u prolly in sekolah rendah and buying an MS or adobe product would cost hundreds/thousands. alasan then was 'cannot afford lah'. is this alasan still valid now?

dont use other media to justify your personal philosophy (alah takpe, i beli dvd pun pirate). nobody swears by their dvd player. but ppl have real attachments to gadgets, superficial that it is, is their right/prerogative.

in summary, if you think theres something wrong with the app store coz 'wah have to pay one ah?' then maybe ipad is not for u. go lah buy some cheap alternative. dont even have to buy ori, just buy some knock off product.

(and ppl got the nerve to ask 'why ah our country this manufacturer always neglect one?'. memang lah, 1st world country desires, 3rd world habits/mentality.

so if u menyibuk in this thread just to spam with complaints w/o genuine interest, go lah to kopitiam to complain about ipek or whatever. some of us would like to discuss more constructive things and ur trolling just lessen the chance of somebody who looking for honest help to get actual attention. ppl wouldnt resort to reporting function if we dont have to deal with children.

Just curious who are you to say whether is it right or not the iPad for us. Whether we want to buy from apple store or not is up to us to decide. If the iPad are sponsor by u then u have the say. Our money our choice la sir. No offense everyone have their own choice to decide.

Of course your money your rights. What i mean by ipad for or not for you is whether suitable. Which is anybody to judge because its just opinion. Nobody ask u to agree.

For instance if u fei chai u have right to wear skin tight clothing. Your money mah. Whether it suitable or not is entirely different matter.

Personally i have no issue if ppl want to JB or not. But lyn has an anti piracy policy so u should abide by it as far as discussion goes. (there are other places u can discuss jb or can even do it in pm) Because it is a form of piracy n we can argue till cow come home n it wont change the definition. Worst you just derail the topic because now ppl to busy defending definition of piracy. Ridiculous.

I wonder how long your battery last on ipad 3g version ? With heavy usage like gaming surfing and watching videos. Any input?

i thought 3g and wifi actually not really different a lot.

Your mileage may vary but I turn on my 3G from morning (around 7 or 8 am). I usually use it to browse shopping site, watch youtube or play some short online games. It till last until I reach home at night.

Yours might be shorter as you mention you're a heavy user and movies.
