Yup, using D26 Mantarays XT with cpc enabled. Wonder why. So u think i should benchmark it using 3dmark rather Sandra Memory Bandwidth test ?

yeap try and see
with cpc enable and cpc disable how ever i suggest using 3dmark 01 to see the difference as 3dmark 03 depends more on vga capabilities. or u can try using super pi test to see the difference..either super pi or prime 95 benchmark test will show you the difference |

Stock speeds wont let u see any differences at all. Try to overclock and measure the differences with 3dmark2001se and Sandra Memory bandwidth test. |

After Flashing with the Modded Bios,
my temp was a bit lower compared to the original bios... i dunno wether its logic or not, but that was what i got stability in OCing... |

Which modded bios? Any modded bios would give extra oompphss compared to stock bios. I never tried Taipan D27, still on D26 coz lazy.

Tips ? Slowly crank the fsb speed, let the proc and the ram have a sufficient burn in time. That way u can get a good results. Trust me.

QUOTE(GKWong @ May 13 2006, 10:55 PM) Those are default for the bios. Hard to change either, just live with it. Afterall u wont be restarting ur pc more than 10 times a day. Do you ?QUOTE(bertz @ May 14 2006, 07:13 AM) It depends on the motherboard. What motherboard you're using now ? |

Well, u can try D26 Mantarays XT 1T, 2T and D27 Taipan. Before that learn how to flash the BIOS and what you would be getting with those rams.

I think its safer using windows based flash program. If anything screw u can just reflashed it again inside windows. If from DOS the mobo would be dead if something bad happened.
