Yup, using D26 Mantarays XT with cpc enabled. Wonder why. So u think i should benchmark it using 3dmark rather Sandra Memory Bandwidth test ?

yeap try and see
with cpc enable and cpc disable
how ever i suggest using 3dmark 01 to see the difference as 3dmark 03 depends more on vga capabilities.

or u can try using super pi test to see the difference..either super pi or prime 95 benchmark test will show you the difference

Stock speeds wont let u see any differences at all. Try to overclock and measure the differences with 3dmark2001se and Sandra Memory bandwidth test.

Tips ? Slowly crank the fsb speed, let the proc and the ram have a sufficient burn in time. That way u can get a good results. Trust me.

Those are default for the bios. Hard to change either, just live with it. Afterall u wont be restarting ur pc more than 10 times a day. Do you ?

It depends on the motherboard. What motherboard you're using now ?

Well, u can try D26 Mantarays XT 1T, 2T and D27 Taipan. Before that learn how to flash the BIOS and what you would be getting with those rams.

I think its safer using windows based flash program. If anything screw u can just reflashed it again inside windows. If from DOS the mobo would be dead if something bad happened. sweat.gif

er...
i don't think so man,
if anything screwed although inside windows you are screwed also,

flashing halfway can power off = corrupted bios (don't try this at home)
