bad luck lor...while flashing the bios, i felt that sumthing was wrong cos it's not my first time flashing using flash menu. but then the restart pop up did appear so i thought everything's fine. who knows, after it power off, it nvr power on again.
*
what was wrong?

if the bios file is corrupted,
then you really need to hotflash already.

ok.. will try now...
something to ask:

Row active delay = more lower better or highest better?
RAS-to-Cas delay = more lower better or highest better?
Row-precharge Delay = more lower better or highest better?
CAS Latency Time = more lower better or highest better?
*
all also lower better

but the row active delay u would like to use 11
coz it gives be best ram bandwidth

i got an issue here, when i using memtest i can run 230mhz 2-2-2-11 pass all the tests no problem

but when entering windows the applications tend to crash especially warcraft 3 sleep.gif||| and games, all the applications are ok, it just crashed though ( not in blue screen) any one of you encounter this kind of issue? It still happens even though i max out my vdimm at 2.9V.

maybe bcoz the temp.. u've active ccoling for the ram?..
*
not likely, i'm using redlines and 2.9V is not an issue.

QUOTE(F.E.A.R @ Jan 27 2006, 09:52 PM)
do 2.5 -2 -2 -11

p[roblem solved!
*
i see, i will try it out, but i seems weired doesnt passing memtest means that the configuration is stable? Furthermore, i'm using 2T and imho 220mhz on 2-2-2-11 is not quite a big push.

QUOTE(satanhead2003 @ Jan 28 2006, 05:28 PM)
Maybe,increase vAGP?
*

doesnt quite make sense,
it's the memory i believe that cause the problem as there are indication in the war3 error log
200 mhz it runs fine and 220 mhz it crashes doesnt sound like a video problem to me

I think its safer using windows based flash program. If anything screw u can just reflashed it again inside windows. If from DOS the mobo would be dead if something bad happened. sweat.gif
*
er...
i don't think so man,
if anything screwed although inside windows you are screwed also,

flashing halfway can power off = corrupted bios (don't try this at home)
