i am always afraid, each time i want to flash a bios, that there will be power surge sure gone....

Dude, power surge Automated Voltage Regulator also can liao. No need use UPS lah, if have extra money buy more reliable UPS like APC or PowerKinetics(PK) so the money spend is worth it.

yes i agree uzairi,
hehe.....
after thinking back, getting a UPS is worth it, at least while flashing bios when a blackout happens, u still can finish flashing the bios and shut down...
phew.... but how much does a decent UPS cost ? (off topic)

just got email from distro convergent system,they willing to send out my dead nf7-s to taiwan for repairs even warranty expired.but the cost of repairs+shipping i have to pay.dunno how much.got 2 boards here.maybe will sell them afterwards.so if anyone have dead nf7-s/other abit boards,pm me we'll send together,save shipping fees  This post has been edited by beetle_larvae: May 17 2006, 11:55 PM |

I think u can open a thread and find ppl with dead mobo. Maybe can get around 10 ppl since ive encouter a lot of ppl with dead NF7.

Cool Beetle LArvae, i think quite a number of people here have dead NF7... @uzairi, Exam just finished yesterday... ehem ehem...... was oiling a few fans yesterday evening.... today hoping to strip the parts.... and repaint the interior black  although its already black owh, get some holes done.... for Cable Management.... |
