both are definitely a great phone. SGS is a fantastic device with big superb screen but let down with it's slow performance / stalling issues. while iPhone 4 has nothing that really impress me except iOS which is damn easy and convenient to use.

but personally i prefer android platform bcoz i can do many things with it, esp browser download, and can act like external hdd / thumbdrive..

the only reason i keep this SGS is because i can see it's potential when everything is fixed.  and hopefully it will happen sooner than later.

thx for the explanation, now i know what to get for my wife. Most fella thought she gonna get a IP4 as i got her a MacBook Pro. I was thinking which to get, since the thickness for both about the same.. but my feeling go with SGS, after ur explanation, it like a booster icon_rolleyes.gif

Yes you can do that.

This is real fun in changing the PDA, MODEM and CSC of which applying each of them from different region. I know CSC doesnt really matter, cos it is just the country specific code.

Will frequent change of the FW cause any problem to the fon? tongue.gif

Anyone is using PaPaGo M6 with malfreemap’s map?
I m using MFM-PPG-C100415a version (Papago X5 for Android), m I using the latest map?

Btw, the map I m using is not so updated, some time guide me to the wrong way. Is there any other map source for PaPaGo M6?
*
I am afraid that the latest map from malfreemap. As far as i know, they may not produce anymore map for papago... Do check out their side for further update.

Sadly, garmin not on Android, if not, i would rush to get it, But i m very satisfy with Bruts and papago now.. plus my Garmin on my symbian., Guess i wont get lost by having this 3 maps haa...

u mean u r having Brut & PaPago M6 on your SGS?
Do we need to root to install Brut? What maps u r using for Brut?
Can Brut & PaPago M6 share the same maps file?

I m using Rmaps (map apps) & PaPago M6, and they cant share the maps file. klang valley maps for rmap occupy 300mb of my space, while mfm-papago occupy another 300mb storage space.
*
Bruts is using google maps. hence they arent sharing the maps.

U do not need to root ur device in order to use Bruts.

Sorry, still not quite understand.

Samset same as firmware?

My simple understanding is.. firmware (eg XWJM5..) is just like a OS, ie win7, win vista. But Samset???
